Not exactly. Betas for Stormlight go part by part. You do put in feedback for each chapter but you can go on. It is not chapter by chapter. -
Hmmm... good rapport with a team. Generally people who are chill. People with good judgment and are extremely reasonable. Typically people who don't want the power are better at it. Hah, I don't really know what to think on that last line. No, I do not snowboard or ski, though I learned skiing a bit a long time ago. It was fun enough, but eh. I lived for a decade in Montana 15 minutes from a ski resort. They don't really appeal to me and I didn't want to take on the expense on getting invested in them. These days I'd want more time to write my own stuff. It's been going pretty good in 2021 though. Brandon in the last few months linked to that 17776, and I really have to read that. I for one don't think souls are real, so it's all kind of moot. That's all a perception thing and humans are very good at rationalizing things, after all. There is nothing wrong with things ending. All things must come and go. Glad to see someone agree with me there; it seems like few tend to agree with me. I understand that very deeply. But do seek out help if the dark days are frequent, please.

Ah so, I put this in the YouTube comments, but this was primarily because we needed to record two shows in five hours, as I had an extremely sharp cutoff for a doctor's appointment. To do that, we had to minimize tangents and not go on five minute interludes immediately

Some things like the leaderboard reset Pacific, but upvotes per day do not have a daily reset time. That goes 24 hours after your first upvote. So it kind of depends and so you'd need to be more specific. There's not really useful answers there. The site should automatically detect your current time zone. I don't really think this is true. It's just that they have a tendency to last longer at American night time, so you feel there are more bots. @Spren of Kindness that is because Tor is in East Coast time, so that's when the "release parties" are usually set and that's when the book is available in America.

Post count always increases in the preview period for a new Stormlight book. This fades away, though. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it is just the natural flow of how having a website about an author goes. When there's new stuff, lots more people are come. Much of the posts these days are driven less from book discussion, though, and more forum games and RP things. Rhythm of War's release was not significantly higher than, say, October. I'd say forum usage on book discussion was a bit disappointing, but not terribly surprising. Discord has replaced a lot of people's forum use, including mine.

Friends, please just report posts that need to be moved into the Rhythm of War forums. That's really helpful, especially since two of you noticed. Please report; that's how this stuff gets changed. But yes, @The Lost Order, stuff that refers to Rhythm of War content should only be in the RoW boards. This board the topic is now in is full cosmere spoilers as well, but Cosmere Discussion does not include stuff in the spoiler period. Thanks.
