It's time for our second Rhythm of War Words of Brandon episode, this time with some Dawnshard stuff too! As always on these, there can be cosmere spoilers too. Also, we are weirdly efficient and this episode is shockingly short. What is this madness? Don't worry, you get some total nonsense on Cusicesh at the end.

We have Eric (Chaos), Ian (Weiry), Evgeni (Argent), Grace (thegatorgirl), and Ben (Overlord Jebus)

I think the “We” is Rayse the Vessel + Odium the power.

The power Odium was not being controlled well and developed a mind of its own. It’s trying to escape Rayse all book and then when he’s dead it speaks to Taravangian.

On the ancient spren as fabrials front, I've been wondering if perhaps the ancient spren historically chose to manifest as a fabrial as a temporary coping mechanism after experiencing the death of their bonded Radiant.

Oh, hmm, that's an interesting idea. I don't know whether I buy it yet, but it's certainly interesting...

I kind of think it was Odium and Cultivation. Likely Honour and Odium were wounded vessels, and Cultivation decided to sow a new crop so the new vessels could better protect Roshar. Jury is out if Cultivation herself will be replaced, but Lift sure is a neat candidate for it

Cultivation is such a wildcard. She clearly has big plans for Lift since she intervened directly.

The only way Brandon wouldn't give more about the "We killed you" is if the answer is already in the text. There are clearly two minds at work with Rayse/Odium so it just makes sense to me that is what he was saying. He refers to himself as we on and off, he does it when talking to Taravangian at the end of Oathbringer. He repeats himself a lot in his speech pattern. It fits in with two minds talking.

Brandon could be fibbing in any WoB, but he did say that Cultivation was helping Honor before he died.

If Cultivation and Honor were romantically involved, why did Cultivation not help Honor against Odium?

Brandon Sanderson

She did.

So if Honor is alive in men hearts It must bé on the restriccions (morals) they put themselves upon, the need of rules as Odium states its Honor's 1st nature. So could It be possible that a new wave of Knights Radiant due to a possible fixed Rosharian Spren and a powerfoul deep Honor act made by a bondsmith would bé enogh to bring back Honor?

I think that the "we" could be Autonomy or even Mercy. If Mercy, Odium, and Ambition all fought, there are two possibilities of this fight: either it was a 3-way fight, or there were two sides to the war. If we accept the latter, I believe that Mercy had to be on Odium's side to kill Ambition. Obviously Mercy is still around, since Sazed could somewhat communicate with her. While many people believe that Odium could fight 2 Shards on his own, I believe that to be extremely unlikely due to the fact that their power levels are all exactly equal. So I think that because Mercy wasn't targeted by Odium soon after the combat with Ambition, Mercy was allied with Odium in the battle against Ambition.
