Reporting is not a bad thing. It just makes it so every mod can see it. It's not problematic. DO NOT PM or ping mods; always report a thing if it is moderation related. We will follow up appropriately. It's just if you ping, then only that mod can see your ping, whereas any mod can see the report. Pinging/PMing just makes the whole process slower and is a bad idea. See here: Anyway, this is all very off topic. PM me if you have other issues, but yeah, you should always always report things of this nature.

I mean, I don't really think this book is significantly different. Perfectly fine for you to disagree, of course, but I definitely think the editor had a very positive effect on the book. Brandon wrote the book he wished to write, and maybe that one is just not your jam. That's okay.

The spoiler period of nine months is quite a long time, and that would put the Coppermind very much behind. (It's funny, even just days after release, there were also complaints that things weren't updated.) Release time is the time where people are most excited to edit, and preventing editing for so long would be very difficult to enforce. It is extremely impractical. Regardless, we do realize that we could do better on Coppermind spoilers rather than our usual policy which we have done in the last decade, especially the one you're referring to. We have done much more with that now. Check out this article where I explain more, which describes more things:

Maybe I'll talk about this sometime, though I don't like bringing attention to these things. Pronouncing Sarene in Aonic sounds dumb, so I don't do it. That I do, or that I want to do? I talk to my lovely fiance, @LadyLameness, as much as I can. During semesters though, those three things really absorb my life. My semester is done now and so I am not really sure what to do. Well, we generally like Brandon's works We're recording a Sixth of the Dusk sequel thing this weekend, but it probably won't come out until January.

Let me know if it doesn't. I am really sorry; this is a very annoying limitation.

Unfortunately, items that have very high dimensions (in pixels) will crash the thumbnail generator. So that's what's up. Unfortunately I can't enforce IPS to actually reject such big images, so it just throws this error instead. I am terribly sorry. If you downsize images, it should work fine.

I personally wouldn't say Rhythm of War spoils Dawnshard. Brandon designed them not to spoil each other.

Hi! You won't be banned for this, but I do want to just say that it's important to give a space to people who dislike a book. This is fine; a book can't be everything to everyone, and people are bound to dislike a thing. People who like the book and people who don't like the book are welcome here. You may find later a book doesn't click with you either, and we want everyone to feel welcome here. They are entitled to post their opinion, and we don't need to put down people when we disagree with their preferences. Some people might feel very strongly about certain subjects, and that's okay, as long as they are respectful. We can be nice to people we disagree with here. Please check out our Code of Conduct: And indeed; Brandon writes the stories he wants to write. But realize some people just want to find like-minded people for support, and they are entitled to be here, same as you. It's perfectly fine for someone to dislike a piece of media you like, because people are different, and that's okay.

Ene is correct. Multiple accounts are strictly forbidden. We are not generous to people who do this, and I will not cry if you get banned because of it. Our Code of Conduct is very clear on this. There have been multiple bans solely on that basis. We will find them and you will be removed. Ookla season is over a decade old and is nothing new.
