I'm still extremely confused by Blados and Chalis's motivations. I suppose it's similar to Saturos and Menardi, because we don't really know why they are trying to light the lighthouses until Lost Age. But at least there, Saturos and Menardi had a clear goal, and they kicked butt. Blados and Chalis seemed like a convenient plot device throughout the entire game. "Hey Matthew! You should do this thing for us. Why? WE AREN'T TELLING!" Ugh. So annoying. The more I think about what the Tuaparang were trying to do, the more I realize it made almost zero sense. For this only, I want another sequel, so I can know that Camelot had some plan, they just executed it poorly.
Plus, I want Nowell as a party member, and I want to see Jenna and Mia.
In any case, the main plot seemed like a total diversion from the real goal. Camelot should have worked harder to make the plot more solid. I also wished that they made more effort to explain why random cities like Ayuthay and Belinsk popped up. Something like "Hey, the Lamakan desert changed after the Golden Sun, and we found these ruins of Ayuthay." Something. Anything.
