Well, my preferred forum software is IPB. It's awesome, but it's expensive. SMF is free and able to be hosted on our own servers unlike quite a few other free forums, which are hosted elsewhere. If you have other forums that you'd like to recommend, I'm all ears, though. Persuade me Of course it takes forever. They aren't exactly being paid to develop it.

I'd still prefer to keep that sort of stuff in house, just sharing content. I agree, I don't think it's going to be tough to persuade.

I don't think we could do that. And that would be complicated as well since we may categorize things differently. Even if it was possible, it'd screw things up on both ends. At best, we'd have to manually move content over, but I think if we work together that would be awesome. Stormblessed and 17th Shard have the two main wikis. Sure, there are some other lesser wikis, but I'm pretty sure we've already surpassed them in content. But it'd be nice to have a good working relationship with Stormblessed.

Like as references or as wiki links? I'd prefer keeping the wiki links internal. References could link there, too. I need to talk with the Stormblessed people if we can set up some sort of direct content-sharing between our two wikis in that regard, because that'd make things a lot more straightforward.

I'm not sure there's a way to do so. It may simply be a function of the SMF 1.x software. I've checked a few other SMF's of that version and it's giving me the same issue. SMF 2, however, seems to have fixed the issue, but it's in release candidate stage, and while I'm all for having release candidate and betas on my own computer, I don't really want to inflict that upon the site. When SMF 2 comes out, I will upgrade it pronto, but I haven't found a method to change it now, because it's all embedded in the forum's software. EDIT: Did some more research. It may be possible for me to adjust the tab sequence. Maybe.
