    Server upgraded!

    Board problem; it might be related to the Fatal Error thing, as that has a tendency to appear in weird places, like even posts. So it might be the thing causing that weird formatting when the post happens.

    Welcome back to Splintercast Reads Words of Radiance. My apologies; I've been away and Alyx has been busy. But we're back with daily episodes, and this time, with five chapters (though some are quite short)! Shallan does a thing. Gets Bluth feels. Alyx can't pronounce things. Everything you want out of Splintercast. And then she sees the picture. She babbles... continuously. Look you didn't expect this, but then you totally do in retrospect.     Try clearing your browser cache. I had that problem when I got back to my main PC and that solved it instantly.

    Just an FYI, the spelling is Leras. Also what the crap is up with Threnody, the Shadows for Silence world? Someone needs to ask Brandon if Shards have ever been there, because that seems... a little extreme. I'm so terrified of that planet.

    Our server has been significantly upgraded. As far as I can tell, the site loads way the heck faster now. There's also significantly more memory, which should prevent site crashes. Unfortunately the mysterious "fatal error" that appears at the bottom is still a thing which I need to figure out. Let me know what you think of the new server

    I like how Brandon finds it just as silly to discuss Feruchemical iron and time bubbles as I do. It's clearly not meant to be immensely rigorous (though the discussion of FTL with Allomancy is about the only worthwhile topic there, in my opinion).

    I totally forgot whether I posted it or not, but I was the one to ask it of Peter. He was all "want me to spell it for you?" He is almost 100% positive that is how it is spelled. Threnody. (And I definitely trust Peter's spelling over Brandon's; you guys have no idea how terrible his spelling is)

    My internet has been phenomenally terrible for uploading episodes (like .5Mbps for all of us in this house. It is awful)... But I'm hoping airport WiFi tomorrow will be good enough for me to do that! Otherwise episodes will resume Sunday. I only really had two day's worth of additional episodes, and I can attest Feather has been phenomenally busy this week. There would have been a break in daily episodes regardless of my internet status I think.

    Apparently even I have missed it, so that means some of you have missed it too: the Words of Radiance midnight release is now uploaded! We had technical difficulties actually streaming it, but we did record it. (Sorry about that.) Here it is!

    I thought there was a quote that said Odium was indeed Invested on Roshar. But he just isn't physically present there at the moment. Do you have a quote saying Odium is *not* Invested on Roshar? I am like 95% sure he is.

    There is actually a donate button on the About page, near the bottom. Certainly, if you'd like to help, that would be nice... It mostly comes out of my own pocket. Argent, the sidebar blocks will be reactivated today. I do think overall my priority is on server upgrade though.
