Tsk tsk, infinity is not a real number and I shall not be so heinous as to pretend act as though it is (That's how you get silly algebra like infinity - infinity = zero, which makes no sense because infinity isn't even a number, so you can't do subtraction on it) Uh... so I have a math master's now, in case you didn't know.

Personally, I always wondered why the Lord Ruler didn't just seize control of his Inquisitors and immediately kill Vin. All of his other powers aside, he could definitely control Inquisitors if he could control all the koloss. In Hero of Ages, I believe either Elend or Vin tries to seize control of an Inquisitor, and the only reason they can't is because of Ruin. It'd be so easy for the Lord Ruler to do this that he really must not have expected anyone to figure out he was a Feruchemist (perhaps because he thought he exterminated it well enough), or that an Inquisitor would ever betray him. Still, he probably should've just immediately seized Marsh the second his betrayal happened.

While your trajectory may be converging to the same place, it always helps if your first derivative is much higher than the rest if you hope to get there first Though I guess none of us will ever get to infinity first, per se, so it's a moot point.

Hi Patrick! Glad you could make it to the real home of info, rather than Reddit (I kid. A little. Seriously though, I'll find things here almost the instant something is announced.) Continue writing. As you no doubt can tell, even Brandon's older works are surprisingly rusty. You too can improve a lot with practice. That's the thing with Brandon, he writes consistently and that's why he gets so good. Hope to see more of you around!

I play a lot of Guild Wars 2, and have gotten Josh and Will to join as well. We are on the Isle of Janthir server (waaaay better than Sanctum of Rall ) though with the new addition of megaservers, it doesn't really matter. I have a personal-ish guild named The Knights Radiant Stand Again [RAD], which I am happy to invite you to. Fully upgraded guild bank! My username on there is LordRuler, and my character name is Jenna Casuana. I've played almost since day one--and I say almost because it literally wouldn't let me in on that three day head start. It's a really good, relaxing MMO, with fantastic combat. I could never go back to an MMO with traditional questing or traditional combat. It's just so much more active and that makes all the difference. Also, it is a ridiculously beautiful game. That helps. Now let's hope ArenaNet makes some new zones as we face off against Mordremoth in the Maguuma...

Time Waster's Guide was Brandon's old forums. It was created by Brandon's friends after they graduated BYU to be a place for them to hang out, and when those among them got published, they used it to host their communities for their books. But aside from the Brandon board, much of the activity was far before that, and mostly just them goofing off. The only active community on the site at its demise was really the Brandon, Dan, and Howard community, and so when there was a hacking there and Brandon's brother (his webmaster) took it offline, we asked if we could host an archive of the site for safekeeping. That's why it is here. Indeed, many of the initial admins met on TWG.

Correct. There will be new negative reputation levels, I just have not added them yet. Obviously Fall Guy will not be at the lowest level. You really should have. That was the old bound for Adonalsium, and you should've expected it was still an important number When did you guys learn about the Tarachin rank? No one has gotten to that yet. I thought I kept that secret.
