(Totally stole this title from Feather when she talked to me about it) Sooooo the site is being weird. I am super sorry. Everything seems broken. The buttons at the top? They don't click anymore. Rep buttons and other various images? Arbitrarily gone. Hilariously the logo vanished. It's been fun. As in, not at all. There are few reasons. First is that there are the usual server issues, and yes, the site is being strangely slow. Second, I am working with IPB to try and see if it is a software issue. So far, it doesn't seem to be, and something IPB did broke things. I'm really sorry about that. Please use this topic to let me know what things are broken. I am currently on vacation in Hawaii, and so, I'm having difficulty doing the full tech support that I could do at home. So be aware that things may be a bit touchy. We're making sure the server is at least running, so posting will still be possible. I'm going to continue pursuing my support tickets. I think the end game will be another server upgrade. Whenever that happens there may be a bit of downtime there, but it may be when I get back home and can monitor things more closely. And hopefully either the server upgrades will make the "fatal error" thing go away, or else we'll need more optimizations. Somehow. Sorry about this; I don't really know what is fully happening.

If you see an error of the form Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 474872112 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 I know this exists. My previous fix did not truly work, so I'm looking into other options. If you see this, don't worry about it. It doesn't have much actual effect, but I didn't want you to be alarmed.

You mean you honestly think the grumpy swordsmaster, with a rope for a belt (normal ardents don't wear those), who Kaladin can't place the age of, who speaks in color metaphors constantly, who has lifesense in his interlude (he immediately knew when Kaladin was coming), and references a choice he needs to make every day to keep living... you think that guy isn't Vasher? And, you know, that he expected to hear a voice in his head, but of course hadn't heard one for years. Go read his introduction (it's the chapter titled Swordsmaster) and his interlude again. Zahel is someone you have seen before I think Wanderer fits most with Hoid, though.

I totally think it is a Foundation reference. Brandon has said he really liked the Foundation Trilogy (I don't know if he's read the others), so I think it is likely. I also agree that epigraph could totally refer to Hoid. Though, Mraize is surely a Worldhopper too.

Sorry about the lack of the stream, guys. Next time we will have it down, but this time we didn't. Hopefully the audio of the recording will be okay.
