"There is an abandoned storage shed that the church used to use, no one goes there anymore. I can have it prepared for you to lye low, and slip out with the pilgramage to Jolie next week."

Brother Tomad nodded, The Raveness and the General had more in common than they thought, unfortunetly one of the things they had in common was their distate for the other.

"Do you have anything else you want to talk about?"

Riva sported one of her classic, unsettling grins. "I would be dead before I finished reciting my entire list of sins to you, Priest."

"Well, unfortunately for you," said Riva, "I don't have the time; have a wedding to attend. Your concern for me is duly noted. If ever you find yourself sent to my dungeons, I just might feel a bit of pity for you. Have a lovely rest of your day, Brother." With that, she walked - bony hips swaying - out of the room.

Riva was ready.

She looked as though she was ready to go to a funeral rather than walk down the isle in a few moments. And, quite honestly, she was worried she might as well be. Ivian surely didn't want her to die, but though Caden was disgustingly loyal to the man, he was also incredibly unstable. But no matter. She'd tame him fast.

Her hair was done up tight, a long black feather secured in her plaits. The black dress she wore had a long slit, revealing the whole of her right leg. Her bony shoulders were bare, but a cape collected on the right side, the left side adorned with climbing fabric vines. She may not have liked that she had to go to this stars-cursed union of matrimony, but she may as well look fabulous while doing it.

Fadran, is there anything you want Ivian to do before the wedding?

Uhh...

Ivian had selected the best man--himself--the maid of honor--one of the King's Ladies that the Raveness had worked with in the past--and the flower girl: a random maid who didn't know what she was getting herself into. He'd made sure to instruct the priest to go through with this as fast as possible, as well as skip the kissing part; there was no telling what the Raveness might've put into her lipstick.

Just now, Channelknight Fadran said:

“Why? Can’t you tell how happy the two lovebirds are?”

Brother Tomad made a noise somewhere in between a choke and a shout.

"Happy? They hate each other."
