Lunamor she/her Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 (edited) Ben watched Shana go, worried. Something must’ve been very wrong for her to leave so suddenly like that. She had been pointing at her clothes, which made him think that she needed to change. But why so quickly all of a sudden? He would have to go check on her as soon as he was done helping James. ”James, can you move your fingers? Are there any feelings of numbness or extra stiffness?” @Wyndlerunner Edited November 2, 2019 by Lunamor

It seems like an amputation and immediate regrowing of your hand might be the only sure way of fixing it, but since it looks like there is no problems I don’t want to put you through that. I think I’m gonna do some research on this and try fixing it once I have some more information. Is that ok?”

And it's cold out here, too." It wasn't, but it should have been, and no doubt it was to Nym. "Maybe we should head inside. Do you think they started the party again? I'd hate for it to get ruined for Ax and Jace just because some voidbringers showed up." That should change the subject. It hurt to much to hear Nym's voice, telling her that it was okay, that she was normal. Evelyn wasn't normal. She'd used fire to hurt the voidbringers. She'd taken what she hated, and turned it on someone else. That would never be okay. Evelyn stood, using the wall of the house to push herself up. She still shook slightly, but not as badly as before. The tears had stopped, too. There didn't seem to be any left to cry.

Eluvianii he/him Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 It was empty again. There weren't even any bodies, Rob had made sure of that, and the house was once again an island in the middle of nothingness. Edwin started walking towards the house slowly. He was tired, thanks to the Stormlight he didn't have injuries but he was really tired, especially now that he wasn't using it. He wasn't even sure if it was justified, he hadn't done as much as the others. He had killed too. For the first time in his life, he took another's, something that would be enough to give nightmares to anyone, but in his face was a slight smile. He felt bad, of course. it was certain that as soon as there was space for it in his mind he wouldn't be able to get it out of his head but for now, he was satisfied. After all, he had been useful for once. He had finally started walking where the others were running and for now, that would be enough to get through the night. In the house, Edwin walked to the living room and slumped on the couch. He wondered if they would continue with the party. It seemed wrong, somehow, but it was just as wrong that every time they tried to have fun this happened. Quote Cassie and Leona are still in the CR, right? So I take it everyone has now timeskipped to when this battle is over?

Quote They are, and we didn't really timeskip, we simply continued after the battle, nobody knows where they are which is kind of on Shana's list, but she got distracted by James. And feel free to decline, if Edwin isn't in the right mood. Shana stepped out of the shower her skin red and feeling slightly raw, but she felt better. At least the blood was gone. Slowly she dressed, realized that she had picked up some training cloths and simply put them on. She grabbed the whole bunch of blooy torn cloths and left the bathroom, walked downstairs and dumped them all into a bin and then just stood there for a moment, unsure what to do next. She didn't really feel like sitting down, needed to move, needed to do something and so she headed outside to retrieve her weapon, saw Rob and Ashlyn talk again. Quickly she turned away from them, unable to keep a snarl of her face and headed inside, her fury making her steps hard and loud. She was heading towards the stairs when she saw someone sitting alone in the living room and paused. Alone was no good sign. Not after the attack. "Interested to train?" She asked Edwin, although she knew that it meant that she had to hold back. She didn't really mind, she could senselessly hack a few training dummies to pieces afterwards and some company would be nice. The only person around that had a chance to make a stand against her was Rob. And Rob was busy. Again.

They had been fighting just minutes before, it had been enough exercise for a week. He didn't know a lot about Shana though, maybe that was how she relaxed, which was kind of a need right now, he couldn't turn her down if that was the case. Besides, he needed to train too if he wanted to keep up in future battles. "Sounds good." he said, getting up. A little extra effort for the day wouldn't hurt. "Just let me..." he walked to the front door and looked just outside. The weapon was there, casually left against the wall, he probably would have to clean that up later, but it was better than leaving blood all around the living room. He walked back there where Shana was standing. "I'm ready. I'm a beginner though, is that alright?"

Beginner or not, it would help her. And hopefully him a little as well. "You can use your surges if you want to." She offered and smiled at him, when she opened the door in the basement leaned her weapon at the wall. The smell of the room calmed her and she took a deep breath, looked forward to the exercise. "What weapon will you use?" She asked him while walking over to the rack with the training weapons and picked a staff. "I can use a staff best, but I also train without a weapon. You can choose what you want to, I simply might not be able to offer much advice." Edited November 3, 2019 by Sorana

"Well, I'm learning to use this one." he showed her the naginata, it was basically a mix between a staff and a sword, with the blade in one end. Though he changed it for another one that wasn't covered in blood. "As for surges, I can barely use Cohesion, but I'll try. So, umm, how do we go about this?" Thinking about it, it was his first time actually doing combat training with someone else. He usually spent most of his time trying to melt rocks, liquefy the floor or practicing with a weapon alone, not confident enough to train with the others.
