As the new Voidbringers advanced Rob did too, breathing in stormlight and feeling the sudden urge to move around, to do something. The spirit of the storm, unleashed from the gemstones and preserved in him, a human conduit for its power. Reaching out he strengthened the clothing of everyone currently fighting. Their clothing would remain light and flexible but would be as strong as stone when struck.

Looking in the distance he saw Cassie fighting a Voidbringer that looked particularly powerful, and Ben trying to convince Shana not to fight. Rob tore his eyes from the two, it wasn’t his business. If Shana got severely injured during the battle, tehnmaybe he would have to carry her back for Ben to heal, but as for now she looked fine. At least physically.

“Her spren is nice,” Cup whispered, hugging his neck. “Scary, but nice.”

 “Where have you been?” Rob asked, turning the floor into liquid and trapping some Voidbringers.

“Hiding,” she replied, quiet as ever. “I was going to make a friend. To play with. But then everyone started shouting about Voidbringers, and...” she shrunk, trembling like a leaf, hiding in Rob’s sleeve again.

Shana listened to Ben's words, fluidly moved between him and another Voidbringer, stabbed it square into its belly, then pushed it away.

"I'm feeling good." She disagreed, "really." Quickly she swiped at the legs of a woman, slickened the ground below her, so that she tumbeled to the ground. "Good enough to fight." She knew that he was right, she had to be careful, but she felt good. Strong and fast. She would stand up for them.

"It's what I do Ben. I am bad at consoling. I can't heal or am smart. If I'm not here, I'm useless. If someone dies here because I am too weak, then it's my mistake."

Quickly she blocked another blow, sent the Voidbringer sprawling, stumbled slightly. "Let's head to the side, work as a team. You can give me cover with your illusions, we take those out of the game, that break through, make sure the house is safe?"

WannabeWordldhopper, hi! First, do you go by any nicknames, and second, do you have a character sheet? 

Results of the poll seem to be about done. The first question is pretty close, leaning toward not having an army attack, so what do you all think of a compromise - maybe another attack about this size sometime later? Like, fiftyish enemies, still pretty easily defeated? 

Secondly we have a tie between no destruction and some destruction, so maybe this potential attack breaks a window or something? 

Lastly, we will be RPing a normal school day tomorrow, and THERE WILL BE CHEESECAKE. GET OUTVOTED, CHEESECAKE HATERS! MUAHAHAHA WE SHALL REIGN SUPREME...OR, SUCREAM!

Does anybody want to share a class or two with Shana? It could be fun. (And besides I'm clueless as to how classes in america are supposed to look like, so that might help me along a bit.)

Cassie slammed her Blade through the torso of another Voidbringer, thoughts determinedly blank. Her clothes were now offering more protection than they used to, which was quite helpful. She still tried to teleport away whenever a blow came close to her, but now she could afford to slip up a little. She had just finished this yet again when her instincts screamed at her, sensing movement in the Cognitive Realm, and she popped back into it by reflex. A new spirit-flame appeared before her eyes, right in front of where she had been. Cassie smiled. You want to play with Transportation? Let’s start the game, then. 

She bent her knees, then jumped with all the force of Stormlight behind her, moving between Realms as she did, en route to crashing into the new foe.

They help the teacher get supplies, grade papers, that sort of thing. Sometimes they can even take a day to try teaching the class.

Lopen relaxed as someone he knew picked up Nym.  She grumbled something that he couldn't hear clearly but he thought it was "Need stormlight." Lopen went to get Glint.  He approached Glint and said Nym needs stormlight!  @Blessing of Potency @Lunamor

So long as they stayed near the house and only fought the stragglers, Shana should be safe. And he was close by if anything did happen to her. 

Inhaling as much stormlight as he could hold, he breathed out and suddenly there were ten different Shanas standing around them. All of them had different haircuts so he would be able to tell who the real Shana was. Just then Glint whispered something into his ear about Nym being hurt. 

“Nym’s hurt, I gotta go.”

He dropped some bags of stormlight on the ground for Shana and took off with the rest, following Glint and reaching Nym in a few seconds. Ashlyn was holding her, and her condition did not look great. She had been injured significantly in at least two places, a leg wound and gut wound. Her skin was already starting to lose its color and turn grey.

He felt awful that something this terrible had happened to someone so young. She looked like she was only 13, barely even a teenager. She shouldn’t have been in a fight like this, shouldn’t have had her mind so messed up that she became a Radiant.  It wasn’t fair.

Quickly he placed a hand on her forehead and tried to heal her. It was extremely difficult. He hadn’t healed a shardblade wound before, but it was even harder than the books suggested. It was like he was forcing life back into it rather than strengthening the life that was already there. And it felt like he was using his own life to do so. After far longer than it should have taken him, color finally started to return to Nym’s skin. Ben stumbled backwards a few steps and sat down, leaning against the wall and breathing heavily. His skin was a few shades paler than usual and it was all he could do to stay awake. He didn’t have enough strength or focus to hold any stormlight, and a few of his illusions started to puff away.

Nym quickly gained conciousness, to Ben, the newcomer, and Ashlyn in a raspy voice she said, "Thank you."  Lopen came to her, exited, Me too!  Nym smiled and said, "Thank you Lopen.  Is it OK if I sit the rest of this out?"  She asked cringing.  She hated to leave the battle.  @Lunamor @Blessing of Potency

Shana inhaled again, when Ben rushed off and followed the urge of the stormlight. She took the spheres, stopped, remembered Ben's warning to be cautious, but the light pushed her to move, to do something. It was so easy to give in, to move, to do something. And she loved it. To rely on her body, to dance around her enemies. Slinkening her feet she moved fast, delected a blade with her staff, and then continued, looked for one person. She sprinted back to the battlefield, caught a blade on her own and then she saw him. Rob.

"Hey!" She shouted and moved over to him, leaving to more Voidbringer on the ground. "Let's clean that placeup?" Together, they could be devastating.
