They weren’t even focusing on the maniac now, they were just fighting. The barkeeper seemed to be barely keeping the blowtorch at bay, but that crazy wouldn’t give up, even with three others trying to down him. This needs to stop—but what can I do? Johnny looked at Malu—the man who’d just last night practically saved him from mental destruction. The decision didn’t take long. I have seconds to save him, to stop the maniac, and I’m on the other side the room. Specks. Johnny leapt from his seat and charged the bar. He watched the struggle to the left as he ran. He needed a clear view of the maniac. He didn’t consider why, he didn’t think anything through like he usually did, he just took action. There! One of the men shifted to the side, giving a clear view of the maniac’s face—bleeding grin and all. Johnny skidded to a stop, going down on one knee, and swung the Smith & Wesson .500 that had been in his hand for ten seconds now to line up between his eye and the maniac’s temple. ~Crack~ Quote Is that how you kill a character?
