I'm introducing her in E4, or at least that's the plan.

Zokora firmly believes she is haunted by ghosts. To have them meet would be so great. Especially if they were able to communicate.

I'm not sure about more weaknesses. I like her set, but it depends on how strong they impede her in the end. And I'm no friend to randomly add them. If I can think of something goo, I'll let you know.

Spoiler

Name: Avalon/Nila Dracone

Appearance: A handsome 23 Roshar-year-old man of no clear ethnicity with dark brown eyes. At 5’11.5” tall he cuts an imposing figure in most of society. He has tan skin and dark red and brown hair with hints of blond. He is well muscled with a surprisingly lean body. OR A beautiful 23 Roshar-year-old woman of no clear ethnicity with light green eyes. At 5’4” tall she is not the most imposing person you ever saw. She has pale white skin and dark blond and black hair with hints of red.

Investiture: Dustbringer (2nd oath) Surges- Division and Abrasion

Skills: A skilled punchy fellow (or lass), with the amateur knowledge of the art of assassination, intelligent, can navigate through worlds easily.

Equipment: Iron Knuckles, heatreal, a bag of spheres with full stormlight

Weakness: Randomly switches from a man who will do almost anything to avoid a fight to a bloodthirsty woman who just wants to kill. Horrible with any melee or ranged weapon.

Family: none

Home Planet: Roshar: Cognitive Realm, Lighthouse on the Windrunner

Backstory: Born in the Cognitive Realm Avalon’s parents were killed before he was six months old. Avalon was raised by the cultivationspren until he was five. Picked up by a wandering merchant and his wife he spent the next nine years of his life wandering the worlds, he never knew their names, but he grew to love them all the same. Intelligent, he left when he was fourteen to train with the soldiers in the Court of Gods in Hallendren. He trained for five years mastering hand to hand combat and becoming in Kaladin’s words “A punchy fellow.” However, he could never master the art of melee or ranged weapons. He left at age 19 to find the merchant who had taken him in. Finding the merchant and his wife on Calamity Reckoner Earth, Avalon joined with them again for two glorious months. Then in a sudden horrific attack, everything changed. An epic named Shattermind and a gang attacked the merchant’s caravan killing everyone Avalon knew and loved. They captured the people who were there and forced others to watch as they tortured the people around them, slowly killing them off one by one. When Avalon was the last one standing Shattermind used her abilities to, well shatter his mind. In doing so she created two different personalities that constantly fight for control. Avalon’s persona remained close to the same with very little knowledge of what happened on that night. Nila the female persona remembers everything. At first, she wanted revenge on the people who killed her friends and adoptive family, so she took control of Avalon’s body and by sheer force of will changed in into a woman's body.  She joined a group that trained her as an assassin for ten months giving her only the basics of assassination. Going out into the worlds again Nila learned something she hadn't known, she enjoyed killing. This realization made her bloodthirsty and she left a trail of bodies in her wake as she was looking for the killers. As she killed more people she soon forgot all about the gang and epic who had murdered the people she loved. After four years of killing racking up a body count in the 500’s Nila found herself back on Roshar. Seeing a familiar place caused Avalon to seize control of the body for the first time in four years. He could barely remember what had happened, but he knew the gist of what he had done. An ashspren named Flicker came to him that day, as he sat on the ground fighting for his mind a thought came to him and he and Nila spoke the first ideal in perfect unison at age 23. One year later they swore the second Dustbringer Ideal “I will destroy only those who I believe deserve it.” This bound Nila’s bloodlust to only kill criminals as now Avalon’s sense of right and wrong were present during the swearing of the oath. This caused Nila to become a vigilante in order for her to sedate her bloodlust.

Mind: Neither Avalon nor Nila has full control of the mind, their memories are distinctly their own and only give faint impressions to the other. They are in a constant battle as to who controls the mind, this can change fifteen times in a millisecond or once every five minutes. After swearing the first ideal they are equally matched.

Theme Song: Mission Impossible Theme

Fighting Style: Both: Hand to hand. Avalon: Tries his very best to escape all fights with surges will avoid killing if he can if forced to fight. Nila: Picks fights and kills with glee uses surges to fight.

This has nothing to do with the scoring, sorry, but...I don’t think that’s how it works. I mean, maybe it’s different in the cosmere, since you have your spiritual self-image and all that, and an Epic could do interesting things to it, but even if a female personality did manifest - which I have no complaints about - changing your gender just through willpower seems far-fetched to me. Especially if it then happens all the time.

Just a minor thing and it could definitely just be me, maybe nobody else cares and I’m being silly :P But it feels unrealistic. Then the cosmere wouldn’t have transgender people, and I thiiiiink Brandon confirmed somewhere that it does? Anyway. Feel free to disregard this entirely.

I would put the DID at 25 points, and the second oath as 10 points.

That would mean: 110+30+40-5-10-25=140.

The character is approved!

I'm heading out the door to work right now, but I will add it to the list later.

Thank you, yes I di think that this is a bit far fetched but..... It is always fun to see what can happen if you push the boundaries of reality to the max without completely breaking them. Again thank you for your feedback.

A quick tip, don't use grammerly on this site. It tends to break stuff like quote and spoiler boxes which can be rather annoying for other people viewing them.

A solution for the gender swapping could be that it's a side-effect from the Epic's power.

Oof, yeah, I did that, and well, not only did it trigger Voidus, but also Chaos. So yeah, don't recommend using that here.

He's a Radiant- it's confirmed that would work. Remember Ax's character in TKND?

Yes, but that requires stormlight healing, and would likely take a fair amount of it.

I have made it a side effect of the epics powers now, how do i get a Character into my sig.

I have my character bio in my “About Me” section and simply hyperlink to it in my signature.

It would easily work, the main issue is that they wouldn’t switch bodies until they started swearing oaths, which happened a fair bit after the initial mind breaking. A side effect of the epic power works well.

Ah, another non combative character. Welcome to the club. Pro tip for doc to shard copying: If you select the entire thing, and then press the bold button twice, it goes normal.

Anyways, can I use Tattered One as a non combative, character development character next era? I kind of need him for my era five plan, so it would be nice to keep him around in era four.

In general, I like the concept of the musician, we had a few, but they rarely got played, so to have an active one, would be great!

Does the forcefield motivator only protect the violin, or can it be used for some other purposes as well? And do you have a reason for the Radiant fabrial? How he got that one?

Your already expecting deatiailed backstory from me???? Yes the forcefeild only protects the violin so I supose I could be used a a shield. However he loves his interment way to much to do something like that. The Radiant fabrial and tensors are so he can escape easily seeing as he is non-combative. I'll say that he got it after impressing the Kholin famly with his playing, Jannash asked him for a boon and he wanted something to make traveling easier. That look good to you?

Hello! Re-submitting Lita and Vivica for Era 4, and adding a new character

Lita - now with more spikes and less morality!

Spoiler

Name: Lita Attar

Physical Characteristics: Female, 24, average height (~64 inches), slender build. Long auburn hair, usually braided over one shoulder. Lightish skin, olive tones. Hazel green eyes, large, widely spaced. Rounded face with pointed chin.

Investiture: Hereditary Twinborn: A-Tin, F-Brass; Steel spike granting Pewter Allomancy

Skills: Intermediate poison mixing (and other apothecary skills), Skilled at covert surveillance but never formally trained in true spycraft. She is Smart, above-average.

Equipment: Metal vials, brass arm-bands (2) worn constantly and three brass ear cuffs (not pierced), 2 on right ear, 1 on left. Glasses.

Weakness: Has very poor eyesight when not burning tin and she requires glasses. She taps brass when burning tin to avoid feeling cold, which means she is unaccustomed to temperature sensitivity while burning tin. Has zero combat skills, is quite small. Lita has a severe prejudice against Terris people, despite being half Terris herself.

Family: Mother not in picture, father lives in Elendel, no siblings she knows of, no children or spouse

Home Planet: Scadrial

Backstory: Lita was born illegitimately to Conrad Attarre and her unknown mother in one of Elendel’s poorer Octants. Her mother, ashamed that she had conceived with someone who wasn’t Terris, refused to acknowledge her daughter and cut the both of them off. Conrad operated a Soothing parlour, and when Lita was revealed to be a Twinborn, her father enlisted her to work alongside him, keeping tin-enhanced eyes and ears on the patrons without them knowing. After she caught one of her father’s patrons, named Forian Tekiel, conducting illicit business in the Soothing parlour, she decided to offer her services as a Tineye to him and joined his smuggling ring. This worked for some years, but Forian eventually decided tried to frame Lita’s father for the illicit business he himself was conducting.

Lita poisoned Forian and fled Elendel, heading south until she met a group worldhoppers. They offered to pay her to fill several heat Excisors, and invited her to join them if she wanted to. When the group passed through the Alleyverse she decided to stay. She changed her name from Attarre to Attar, hoping she could blend into the sea of faces and peoples in Alleycity and start over. Prior to joining the Dark Alley, she took odd spying jobs, filled heat Excisors, and mixed the occasional poison.

During a trip to the Odd Job Tavern in search of work, Lita met Laurelai and was later recruited into the Dark Alley. During the events of Era 3 and the destruction of the Vortex, Lita received a spike granting her Pewter Allomancy. Her continued abuse of Tin is leading her down a slow path toward Tin Savantism, and her Twinborn resonance has begun to manifest itself.

Guild: Dark Alley

Personality: Extroverted, charming, cunning, and perceptive. Lita loves secrets, and will do what she can to ferret out any hidden knowledge she thinks will give her some power or edge. She does not trust easily, but she does enjoy company, so she simply does not reveal much about herself. After a childhood of relative scarcity, Lita loves the finer things in life. Lita is power hungry and somewhat self-absorbed, but cares deeply about her inner circle - the few it contains, anyway.

Theme Song: "Swan" - Willa

Vivica:

Spoiler

Name: Vivica

Physical Characteristics: Female, 28, long light brown hair, blue eyes, pleasant-looking face, slender and short. Her left ear is missing and there is a long thin burn scar running down the left side of her neck

Investiture: Hereditary Bronze feruchemy, hemalurgic spike granting Bronze allomancy (effectively Bronze compounder)

Skills: Intelligent, advanced note-taking, shorthand, never needs to sleep

Equipment: Bronze metalminds and bronze vials, one unsealed small coppermind ring

Weakness: Incapable of sleep, mental stability is fractured, will occasionally hallucinate or break down, terrified of large spaces and so rarely leaves the Alleys, hearing in left ear is at half-capacity, she can hear loud sounds and notice when someone is speaking but needs to turn to hear them clearly in her right ear. Afraid of fire, but can handle typical laboratory-type fire. Single flames don’t trigger her panic, but a fireplace would, and a bonfire would definitely do it.

Family: Quite dead

Home Planet: Alleyplanet

Backstory: Vivica was born in the Alleycity and her family died during the Seven Days War. Her house caught fire and killed her family while she was asleep in bed, she almost died too but was woken when the roof fell in on her, burning her ear and the left side of her neck. She lost the ear and part of her hearing, but fled the house in time to survive. Vivica spent the next few years in and out of orphanages and homes, always hating having to sleep and being plagued by terrible dreams. One day, she had a panic attack in a large open square and fled into an Alley. She found the winding, enclosed space a comfort, and joined the DA after realizing they could help her avoid ever having to sleep again. Her intelligence and perception allowed her to rise to the station of a research assistant, helping observe experiments at any and all hours due to her ability to stay awake all the time. Years of compounding bronze have erased her ability to sleep, she has lost the ability to do so even if she wanted to. This endless wakefulness is slowly driving her crazy, though she generally has a good handle on it. She will regularly hallucinate, so regularly that she has made a catalog of her recurring hallucinations and their expected patterns of behavior. She keeps this catalog in an unsealed coppermind ring. Less regularly, she will break down. This is generally triggered by stress, large spaces, or large and unpredictable fire. Rarely leaves the Alleys.

Guild: Dark Alley

Personality: Vivi is quiet and perceptive with an alert awareness of her surroundings. She is introverted but genuinely enjoys the company of people she trusts. When she feels comfortable, Vivi will talk about the things that interest her. However, she is also crazy. She will often begin speaking to one of her hallucinations, which some people find off-putting. She doesn’t show much intense emotion outside of her panic episodes, though her base personality is one of quiet pleasant-ness. Vivi appears to be the kind of person you’d let watch your dog while on vacation, but this would be a mistake. She would definitely experiment on your dog, then happily chatter to you about the results.

Theme Song: "Play Destroy" - Poppy, Grimes

Corette:

Spoiler

Name: Corette

Physical Characteristics: Female, mid-20s, tan skin, light blue eyes, shoulder-length dark brown hair. Eyes have slight upturn due to ¼ Alethi heritage. Somewhat forgettable face, no true striking characteristics. Slightly short, lean.

Investiture: Twinborn: A-Bronze, F-Cadmium

Skills: Tracking/stealth (expert), survival skills, basic defence, free-diving (intermediate)

Equipment: Bronze metal vials, Cadmium bracers (2 on upper arms, 1 torque-style around neck), oxygen tank (not always kept on person, but usually nearby in her typical locations)

Weakness: Prone to weakness, lightheadedness and shortness of breath while storing in Cadmium bracers, which she does often during periods of low activity. Slight social anxiety. Unskilled in combat.

Family: Presumed dead/unknown

Home Planet: Alleyplanet

Backstory: Corette lost her family in the Seven Days War, growing up in an orphanage with little to no memory of her parents. Another girl there claimed to have known her family, though the two did not become close. Corette worked as a cutpurse in her early teens until an average sweep went wrong. She was dragged into an alley by a mark, who attempted to strangle her. Corette tapped breath while feigning strangulation, then, when the man dropped her, she snatched his knife and used it against him. Has worked odd jobs throughout her teens/early 20s. When ACE put out a call for explorers and volunteers she joined to explore what was going on under the city.

Guild: n/a.

Personality: Quiet, observant, pleasant demeanor. Practical, methodical, somewhat dark sense of humor. Greatly enjoys exploration and discovery.

Theme Song: "Bottom of the Deep Blue Sea" - MISSIO

To clarify, this is Joel's ability in terms of pure knowledge and skill and Melody's ability to control chalklings? Or some other combination?

I think both Joel's knowledge as well as drawing abilities?
