Not really, it makes sense if you think about it. Investure healing works by realigning your body with your mental self-image, so if your image has a different gender than your actual body it would correct it.

But being the accepting bunch we are, if you put it in your sig and occasionally remind us of the request, I'm sure we could accommodate their nature by using gender neutral pronouns to refer to them.

Hmm, the gender neutral thing isn't an issue. It's more that the character is described as transgender while using non-binary pronouns. It was mainly talked about because it was a bit confusing. That was my reason, at least.

Yeah, gender-neutral isn't too hard to remember. I've got to accommodate that in the Reckoners RP too, and for one of my favorite characters.

But yeah, please clarify whether the character is transgender (and if so, male ore female pronouns) or gender-neutral, or one of those other things that I don't remember.

Wait a second... @Ookla the Meeker , your Era 3 character has wire Proficiency, os he can use wires or threads as weapons. One of the major setbacks of this is that the attack range is determined by the length of the actual thread.

However, when you have threads like The Longest Thread (Misadventures), then you're basically unstoppable!!!

A sandling would be a difficult primary character to OP. They'd probably end up being used as more of a weapon than a character. I haven't read White Sand, but based on the coppermind article, those things look pretty powerful. I'm inclined to say it would be OP.

He's not finalized yet, but yes. He's an Iron Compounder (Crusher?) and Metallic Arts fanatic who's obsessed with getting a Shardblade, but more specifically with proving one can be made from the Metallic Arts. He's also a Lurcher Savant, so he can do cool things, like stopping trains and following bullets (not far though, because of drag).

Sex: Transgender

Age: 483

Personality: Coy, sneaky. Likes to be a part of things, but in the background. Loves to acquire and trade secrets. Social, but can be seriouis when needed. 

Weaknesses: Quests; loves to observe and tamper with quests. Has a weak spot on hir left shoulder where she was beet as a child. Hitting this area causes hir to collapse in pain. One of the main reasons se doesn't wear heavy armor: anything metal is to heavy, and causes pain on hir weak spot. Isn't very pain tolerant.

Strengths: good at fighting; doesn't fight fights se knows se'll lose. Very good at not getting hit, but awful at taking hits. Good ear for secrets: can tell if you have a secret, and will try to persuade you to tell hir.

Prefrences: Loves all members of the GB, and treats them like family. Otherwise, hates all noblemen and Terrisman. Loves fruits and berries, but hates nuts and most sweets. Prefers areas such as jungles, which are easy to hide in. Enjoys hunting and killing large game such as Chasmfiends. Hates heavy armor, and tends to use light, fast weapons.

Investiture: A twinborn: Burns Cadium (slow bubble), and stores with steel (speed). 

Weapons: Primer cube, obsidian daggers.

Fighting style: Either fights with speed, zipping through enemy lines, stabbing strategical pressure points, or, if overwhelmed, throws a primer cube and calls for reinforcements.

Backstory: Born on Scadrial, Grew up with no parents. Born in Era.1 from a Feruchemist and an Allomancer, but was cast out for not being Fullborn. Resented both Noblemen and Terrisman for what was done to hir (him/her). Grew up on the streets, and learned to be invisible; very fragile body, and is hurt (physically) very easily. Eventually infiltrated hir parents home, and brought down the keep with a couple well placed lies and secrets. Got an interest in lies, and ended up with an information empire. Learned of the Well of Ascension, and discovered worldhopping. Eventually made hir way to Roshar, where Se (she/he) met up with the Ghostbloods. Has been a loyal member ever since.

 

have you considered making hir a steel inquisitor, or a person experimenting with hemalurgy like an inquisitor?

Thank you. Iron Compounding has always interested me. He'll need Hemalurgy to accomplish his goals though. Assuming it's possible.

Really? I didn't realize other people really thought so. I've theorized about the creation of a "Mistblade" that involves Nicrosil Compounding and the Burning of a spike, plus some possible Identity stuff. That's the angle he's going to come from, once he connects all of the dots and decides that hell go into Hemalurgy.
