Delightful Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I'm fairly certain someone asked if there were waffles on Scadrial and Brandon said their were. Hence the Scadrian waffle cook I presume. I really hope I'm not remembering wrong. Awesomeness! Whoever asked that question: Thank you.
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Well, relating to Earth food in the cosmere, since we know that Hoid loves bacon, I hope there's a rep relating to that! 2
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I can confirm that Wyrn the King was at 760
Alvron Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Noticed that Sanderson's rank is now Most Ancient at 2508. No idea when the switch over was. 1
Quiver he/him Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 375 is confirmed as the starting point for an Artifabrian.
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 This is a little bit of self promotion but.... Top Ten!
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 777 = spinner. I didn't see that change from 774-777 so not sure where the actual change was
Kurkistan he/him Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) It's probably a hard line at 777. Three 7's and all. Edited April 14, 2014 by Kurkistan
ccstat he/him Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Spinner at 777 is very appropriate, Chaos. Well done. (Maybe stating the obvious, but we have multiple nationalities/cultures here so some may not recognize the association. At least in the USA, gambling often involves "lucky sevens" and slot machines in particular often place the jackpot on triple 7. Since spinners manipulate luck, they would presumably do well in Vegas.) 1
Observer Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Limping in the wake of AS, I'm finally a Shade! Yay! Also, I still chuckle a little when I see the Waffle Cook rank on Kurk. It's just so out of place among all these sombre ranks
Aether he/him Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Woho! Just reached Spinner myself! Edit: By the way, Brandon has reached the rank of "Most Ancient". He's currently got 2'520 Reputation Point. Edited April 15, 2014 by Aether
Delightful Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) I'm still a Silent Gatherer at 299. Hard boundary must be 300. Edited April 16, 2014 by Delightful
Aether he/him Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I am surprised that Silent Gatherer is this high. Sure, it is an important role in the books themselves, but who wants to be associated with their murderous activities? Wouldn't it be more fit for the negative reputation ranks?
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I don't think it's deserving of negative rank. The same argument can be made for Steel Inquisitor. However I agree that it is somewhat surprising that it is so high up in the rank. As far was we know, the Gatherers are just normal people who do questionable things.
Aether he/him Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Well, they do have "licence to kill", which is kind of cool, I guess.
Peng the Just he/him Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 presently kurkistan is at 1,141: "Scadrian Waffle Cook"
Mailliw73 he/him Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I hit Arbiter at 225. Whether or not that is already confirmed though, I don't know, I just thought I'd post it.
Moogle Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Full Feruchemist here at 891. I really don't want to get more rep all of a sudden. Although, maybe there's Lerasium-eating Feruchemist at some level above me? Edited April 17, 2014 by Moogle
Observer Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Yeah, you've kind of run out of powerful ranks. But hey, if you work really hard one day, you might actually get to be even better than a Feruchemist. You'll be able to cook waffles. 4
PorridgeBrick he/him Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Full Feruchemist here at 891. I really don't want to get more rep all of a sudden. Although, maybe there's Lerasium-eating Feruchemist at some level above me?Seeing as even Brandon just got past Mistborn pretty recently, it's going to be a while before you reach Fullborn/TLR.
Observer Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Hey, I'm an Elantrian now. Does that mean I can use Aons to make Waffles? Am I a Selian Waffle Cook?
PorridgeBrick he/him Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Nope, it's one of the central limits of all Cosmere magic systems. Lightweavers can't Soulcast sticks, non-Scadrians can't make waffles. It is a magical ability even Hoid can only dream of attaining. Cue the inevitable upvotes for mentioning the Stick in my post. 7

I regret to inform you that you are currently the victim of an accidental mobile downvote. Will any brave warriors rise to correct this grave injustice? Only time will tell.

Baine he/him Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Can Kurk only make waffles? Or can he make pancakes and french toast as well? Or basically anything that uses syrup. 1
