she's becoming a hopeless romantic :3

Ribbon looked disappointed in herself for an instant, but shook it off before the feeling could take hold. "I put a mental block to prevent 9/10mm HB from interacting with Inkwell for a little while. Figured it was the least I could do."

He cupped one hand to the back of her head and the other to her forehead and whispered under his breath. The bump faded, as did the bruise and the associated internal damage of both. He smiled, though he looked more tired. "There. Is that better?"

"Oh-" Arayna seemed to deflate slightly at the lack of dragon kills under the young hero's belt, but she refused to despair. "Well, this one is really old, so it would make a great dragon to start with!" Peeking around the other side of the stalagmite at the sleeping dragon, she looked around the cavern, trying to think of a plan. "There are a few other good stalagmites around I could hide behind, this dragon is blind and seems to react more to sound. I could run about and throw some of the larger bones about to make more confusing noise. And you can fight the dragon while I distract it." She glanced back at the young hero, with a questioning look.

Regulus blinked. This woman wanted to help him? This wasn't going at all like the stories he'd heard. Normally, the fair maidens who'd been kidnapped either sat patiently and waited for rescue doing nothing, or did all of the work on their own. "Um, that sounds like a good plan." He said. "But watch out for the smoke." He coughed again. "It's, er, dangerous." Unable to bear embarrassing himself in conversation any longer, Regulus stepped out from behind the stalagmite and snuck towards the sleeping dragon.

Pree stood up seemingly from nowhere and approached Myles. "Hello! Would you be interested in filling out a survey related to new generation assessment?"

She looked at his hands.

The sky was too vast and mighty to contain. He sucked all the color out.

Alli yelped.

Staring at the waves, Inkwell says, “I think the safest place for him is contained in my mind. If he gets out, I don’t know what he’s capable of.”

wait what

i specified pencil because it’s the pen that’s magic. Idle background material. The pen isn’t that powerful anyways, it can’t manipulate planets or create things like Narratorblades

Somewhere, elsewhere, Dark Cep nodded. His Author had finally devised a plan; now it was time for him to set it up. " @NameIess!" he called. "Whichever of your characters would best be able to help me! I have need to discuss Mordite."

Myles cocks his head. "Ah, yes, I see now. Interesting name, and a rather suspicious one, but I would be willing, yes."

"Ok... Here it goes." Ribbon said to Fog.

I hope I don't screw this up in front of my crush. She silently gave half a second of prayer and then targeted the thing known as 9/10mm HB and drew a metaphorical line to a...

"That's right. I have to make the body first." She muttered. She made her best attempt at a human and then held it in her mind, then drew a metaphorical link from 9/10 to it.

She forced the unconscious mental parasite through Inkwell's mind and then into the body she had made.

I'll let @edgyswordname decide whether it works or not.

Um so 9/10 just made a deal with Pree, and one of Pree’s friends is supposed to do that. So if Ribbon was the one that he was referring to, yes. If not, I’d enjoy adding some consequences into their bond.

So does it work? Or not. Ribbon's not interacting with Pree.

I believe the deal with Pree was unofficial, since nothing has happened yet 🤔

Up to you tho!

"I don't believe there are many. Those who harm are far more common."

I should note, so you don't get too attached, he's being slightly manipulatory. This is not a good character.
