NameIess Posted February 1 Posted February 1 17 minutes ago, LessName said: As the cloud of smoke erupted from the old dragon's mouth, Arayna ducked back down behind the large mammal bone ribcage being used as her. . . well cage, except she was of course, able to slide between the bone ribs to look out. She watched, as the dragon proceeded to hack and cough more smoke, a few embers flying forth, and the young man dropped his sword. He must be a prince, She thought. Because who else would fight a dragon? For the first time in a while, Arayna felt her hope rise, but it almost immediately sank as she noticed the sword on the ground. "Well, here goes nothing." She muttered, as she slid between the 'bars' of her cage, and ran over to scoop up the weapon. Holding it awkwardly, she squinted through the haze of smoke--as it had started to disperse--to find her rescuer. She grabbed him by the shoulder, and proceeded to attempt to tow him out of the smoke. Regulus, by this point starting to lose coherent thoughts to lack of oxygen, followed Arayna's lead out of the smoke. He coughed, trying to dispel the remaining smoke from his lungs. He looked up at his rescuer, eyes wide with shock and gratitude. His eyes widened further as the dragon swept its foreleg forwards in a vicious attempt to kill its target, vision too poor to see that its 'princess' would be caught in the crossfire. Regulus leapt forward, tackling Arayna to the ground just in time to avoid the dragon's wild swing. keeping hold of Arayna, Regulus rolled behind a rather large stalagmite. "Thanks." He whispered, as the confused dragon in the background looked for its prey. "You saved me. But you should probably run now. I'll handle the dragon." It should be noted that Regulus sounded exactly as unconfident as he felt in regards to his dragon-slaying capabilities. Nonetheless, he reached for his sword, determined to give this woman every chance to escape. 4 minutes ago, edgyswordname said: “So, the voice in my head just came back after hiding from Rebus like an absolute baby, and wants me to make another rift. Through The Living Glass She/They Posted February 1 Posted February 1 oh crap I forgot @TwinStorm here's this Fog bowed her head in mournful respect when Cricket died. It was nice to know you, Cricket, however brief our time together was, she thought, though she knew he was already gone. I enjoyed it, though I doubt you ever remembered me. 12 minutes ago, edgyswordname said: Reveal hidden contents Listen, Inkwell, I’ll make you a deal. It's definitely strong enough to kill Narrators- it was made to kill things that kill Narrators."
