"If you permit Erryin to kill him, I will tell you what you need to know, without any of the falsehoods that sprinkle his speech."

"That works just about as well, however he is here already whereas Erryin is not. What is best, it then follows, is for the Father to tell me what he will, and then for you to kill him and tell me what you will."

I foresee a very funny potential plot arc.

Resulting from this? Or simply a possibility

"Very well. I cannot kill him, however, so I suppose he will indeed keep his life some time longer." He waves for the Father to proceed.

The Father nods. "Very well. What would you like to know?"

Both?

"He does not have his memories because he was put back in the wrong order, correct? How could that be remedied?"

"You would need to combine him with the missing pieces, which would be rather difficult as it includes that one"—he points at Dark Cep—"who has his own agenda currently, and another who is also working on his plans."

“Uuuh yeah that.” Asher yawns. @NameIess

"I assume you are referring to Asharak? Are those the only other pieces?"

"Some would return if he merged with those two. The ones he would need for the moment, anyway."

"You must simply get them in the same place at the same time, with both willing to merge."

"I suspected that was the case."

Taeidin turns to Dark Cep.

"I'm assuming that you would not be willing to do this until he is dead?" he asks, motioning towards the Father behind him.

"Keeper of balance. But anyway, I understand your hesitation. What would I gain, though, by harming or tricking you? Erryin can be of some use to the universe. I know not your abilities, nor what use you could be."

"Not much use, I'm afraid." The traveler looked at her feet. "I can't even do what I was made to do."

Asher thought, “after we came across a skeleton dude who was like dying and then he like poofed away.”

"Oh, that sounds serious." The man took a step back and put on a pink medical mask. "Perhaps you should be in quarantine or at a hospital, rather than attempting to infect unsuspecting innocents?"

Dark Cep nods sympathetically. "To be unable to fill one's purpose js an awful feeling. You see, I would have no reason to deceive you; the door is safe."

Rebus, though he was mostly focused on the skeleton with the dagger, began running through the possible Banes in his head. The simplest was probably light, so Rebus’s armor suddenly flared to incredible brightness, filling the room with a purple glow that would have hurt to look directly at had any observers in the room possessed anything close to human vision.

Several of the skeletons rattled and began to fade. There were no humans or even creatures with eyes besides Rebus and Mischief (when did she grow all those oh my that’s a lot of eyes) in the room so nobody was affected.

The golden one snarled and his battle axe disappeared, reappearing across from Rebus and swinging at his back in tandem with an arrow fired from one of the skeletons.

@KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren all that’s really left is you having your skeleton commander join the fight

He stared. “You’re an Ennuller. You shouldn’t be able to be infected!”

Named, now a a Cognitive Shadow stapled to a skeleton from his own corpse, appeared beside Sandy. Sandy then left immediately to go back to Trisolaris. Named tapped speed in preparation. Each of his ribs was coated in a different metal to he could still use Feruchemy.

@ChipsAHoid, I need to know what the lighting in this place is. Also, how many other skeletons are there and do they follow everything I say?

The traveler considered, then reluctantly walked through the door.

"Sorry, Sorry." The man said. "I must have forgotten to mention: I'm an Ennuller stand-in. Just as useful as an Ennuller, except for the lack of powers. So I'm very much infectable!"

After a brief and disconcerting trip through a smoky emptiness, the traveler appears wherever they were picturing.

"Erryin isn't going to return to that role. Why do you need them in specific?"

He's rather stubborn when he determines roles.

"You implied that already. Why could someone other than Erryin or yourself not kill the Father?"

"It must be chosen as their role. If one kills him without the intent of repairing balance, balance is not restored, and the death was pointless."
