"No, as in, I went into unreal space and popped out during the house thing." Nerdy clarified.

...I feel the need for more clarity.

“Nameless? He’s my Narrator. Well, I guess I should say he was my Narrator. You’ve met him.”

"Narrator?" asked 655 nervously, then: "I have?"

“I believe so, yes. It was a long time ago.” Moni turned to look at Nerdy. “I can’t say what happened. I’ve only told one person, and he won’t be telling anyone else. Not sure what my Author would do if I told the secret around, but I’m sure he wouldn’t care if he wasn’t planning to bring it up later.”

The platform was empty. It seemed as though everyone else had already left.

All except for one. The destroyer.

A cold wind blew across the platform, carrying with it the faint scent of ash.

A scraping sound came from behind the destroyer.

Moni shook her head. “I’m no Narrator. Just an Avatar of one. Or maybe an ex-avatar? Im not sure how it works when an Avatar’s Narrator no longer exists.”

"Oh. So Nameless is dead?"

The destroyer spun around.

A humanoid figure approached, ash flaking off of its deformed body as it lurched towards the platform, dragging a sword with it. Its eyes locked onto the destroyer.

Moni froze. “Uh, I can neither confirm nor deny that statement.”

The destroyer gave it a contemptuous glance. "I"m having a bad day," he growled. "You better not have come here to make it worse."

The creature’s grey eyes slid away from the destroyer, examining the platform. A deep red glow burned within the thing’s chest, flaring in apparent anger. The creature growled, gaze moving back to the destroyer and speaking in a gravelly voice.

“Where are they?”

"Gone," snarled the destroyer. "Run off with my Plotblade."

655 sighed. "Great."

The creature hissed. “Your Plotblade? It is ours. Do you seek to take it, as they did?”

Moni shrugged. “Sorry. Don’t want to make my Author angry at me. He might sick that new Narrator of his on me.” She shook her head. “You’ll want to stay away from her. She’s worse than Nameless ever was.”

The destroyer's empty gaze flashed dangerously. "I seek to claim what is rightfully mine," he answered. His blade coalesced in his hand

The creature raised its own blade. “You will not have my Blade.”

Moni looked at Trlc with concern.

The destroyer growled, his sword glowing yellow. Then he plunged it into the ground.

The ground detonated, vaporizing everything in a thirty-foot radius.
