He toasted it over the fire until it was a light golden brown crisp, set it on his dinner plate, cut it up with a fork and knife, and munched on it thoughtfully. "Chew on your words before you spit them out." he said to himself. He quickly wrote this down as his proverb for the day, happy he'd come up with yet another helpful phrase.
