This was unfortunately what happened a lot of the time.

Fortunately, One turned out to be a natural. Which was something that also happened a lot of the time.

One day, One Day realized that she didn't know what she was supposed to be doing. The people that had hired her never told her.

This ended up with her getting fired, as we can't have competent people in the manager/supervisor position! That's just irresponsible!

655 closed his eyes instinctively. He wound up missing the elevator doors. "Ow." He rubbed his head and stepped into the lift. "Well, it is what it is, I suppose."

Moni hit a button on the elevator. "Don't worry. Your brain won't explode if you don't try to process what your eyes are seeing."

Reaching the top, the elevator's doors opened with a friendly *ding*. Moni stepped out of the elevator into a magnificent city filled with Ghanderflaffles. "So... why did we come here again?"

"Well, most of the planets will auto-fill, but there are a few we'll have to do manually." The inspector tapped a star and they were instantly transported there. He pulled out a few more charts. "Here. These are the chemical compositions and sizes of each planet in this system."

She sat down and started plotting planets.

"On the bright side, this should take less time."
