They only spoke in red italics some of the time.

Almost as good as the slightly-smaller-than-normal red underlined strikethrough italics.

The shadows were slightly confused, and bored.

This was bad. When they got bored, things tended to get bad.

But this was different, because the Traitor was working to sabotage them.

This led to a few negative effects.

This resulted in the Narrators Running out of black ink.

Sequence walked in. "Sorry guys, I couldn't find any black ink but the store gave me a discount for blue."

Witless followed behind Sequence "looks like I got Pink"

Subversion got purple.

"Ooh, that's a good color for you!" Sequence said to Subversion.

The shadows spoke a strange Command

Subversion wondered what the command was. Then she realized, and her face filled with indescribable horror.

[ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them]

Oh dear. This could be bad. Everyone (not-personified) thought in unison. Subversion was pretty tough, so only something really terrible could draw such a reaction.

How could someone plan something so terrible? It was beyond imagination.
