NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Subversion shook her head. "Well, if you have nothing else to say, I'll just vanish now. Unless... does Mythos want to go on a quest? I've got a great one lined up for him."
Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 @Thaidakar the Ghostblood I hope when you said you knew where Plot's sword was you realized that Platypus never gave it up. He still has it.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) Due to the fact that the post above was not bolded, it was therefore not canon. Sequence graciously converted it to canon by bolding the words. Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Just now, Sequence said: Due to the fact that the post above was not bolded, it was therefore not canon. Sequence graciously converted it to canon by bolding the words. "Ahem," i was keeping it not bolded because it was already canon by virtue of it being true and never falsified. it was purely for disscussion purposes, but thank you.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Ah, but making something canon makes it more fun, does it not?
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Subversion pointed out that it had, in fact, been previously established that someone else had taken up the sword of plot.
Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Platypus questioned when that happened, his Author must have missed that.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Authors do tend to miss things.
Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) Because there was one claim that was proven false when Platypus brought Vengeance (Plot's sword) back to his hand. Platypus points Subversion back to the middle of page 2034. Edited February 1, 2023 by Being of Cacophony
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Subversion frowns, pointing out that the sword of Plot had split in two, so it was clearly true that someone else was in fact in possession of that blade. That was part of the quest that Subversion was offering to Rym.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 But of course, Rym was smarter than that. Right?
Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 So now there are two swords of Plot. And nobody except No One knows how. He might have forgotten at this point anyway.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Rym was smart. But he was also very curious. He sent Bookwyrm a quick mental message explaining what he was doing. Then he drew his Mordite blade and pointed it at Subversion's throat. "I'll investigate," he said. "But if anything goes wrong in the slightest..." He let the threat hang in the air as he stepped through the portal and into the sun-baked dunes. @UnfortunatelyNamed
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) Subversion shrugs, mentioning the fact that unless Rym went on the quest, the wielder of the split-off sword of Plot would continue to wreak havoc on the innocent. The portal vanished behind Rym, leaving him alone on a vast and empty desert. @The Bookwyrm Edited February 1, 2023 by UnfortunatelyNamed
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Rym called upon a bit of Narration power to point himself in the right direction. Ahem... Rym was facing the right direction. He started walking across the desert in that direction.
Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Platypus walks to confront No One. Unfortunately, he wasn't home.
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 36 hours of walking later, Rym came across the ruins of a destroyed town.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Hm. Rym looked around, scanning the ruined buildings for any sign of life or clue.
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 There were none of those signs, besides the human-shaped burn marks that were occasionally visible.

Immortal Platypus Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Platypus teleports to No One's location because his Author let it happen, thus penetrating No One's location blocking defenses.
NameIess Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Subversion appears beside him, having completely forgotten who No One was.
