Schrodinger didn’t know he had a twin brother at first, so he understood to some degree.

Melody was reformed by her little crab friend, Mono, out of the melted pieces of herself. She started running away, only getting herself more lost as she made random turns, trying to get away from the melting. Being melted was not a pleasant feeling. She slowed down and started walking, hoping to find the exit, because she didn't know yet that it was a magically changing maze that was impossible to escape.

Hours later, Melody found the center of the maze. There was a very old man in a cage, snoring gently. He was asleep(obviously, otherwise why would he be snoring? I'm being specific to create less opportunities for madness). "Hello?" Melody asked gently and quietly.

[Vapor she/her]

He woke up.

[Jaywalk he/him]

To a llama drooling on him.

"Oh dear," he said.

The llama licked his face.

[Channelknight Fadran]

Author F snapped his fingers and destroyed half the llamas in the universe.

But that didn't include the llama licking the old man in the cage.

that one turned into sentient glitter.

Stepping through the sentient llama glitter, Melody addressed the old man. "Are you all right?" she asked. "Why are you in a cage, and can I help you get out?"

"Oh, are you allergic to it?" Melody asked. "I'm terribly sorry. What are you doing in here? Do you know how to get out of this maze?"

The man picked up the glitter. "No, it's not that."

"Well then, why are you in a cage in the middle of it?"

"To await travelers, of course," said the man. "Why else? Someone must do it."
