And the monster turned around and lumbered further into the maze. As Melody stood up and began to walk out of the dead end, another wall came into existence, blocking her. It closed the dead end, and made it impossible for Melody to escape, since all of the walls went up to the ceiling, which, along with the floor, was made of granite.

At which Melody laughed, because it was actually obsidian. Being closed in and having no way to escape, Melody sat down to try and 'find her friends within her heart', or whatever that old man had said.

Butt Venture: The only really recurring character in this thing. Don't ask me, but I'm decently sure you can find him on almost every page in the like 300-500 range of this thread, and beyond.

Pages 300-500 are heavy in plot, actually. ;) He was more important at the dawn of TLT. Pages 1-250 or so.

"Guys!" she yelled, leaping to her feet. As she did, the walls fell away and she could see a straight corridor with an open door at the end.

Melody burst into the sunlight on the other side of the door and sighed happily as she felt it on her skin. "Come on, everyone! It's so nice out here!" She looked down at her hand, which was still gripping X's avatar's wrist, and blushed, embarrassed, as she let go. "Sorry, it was a reflex. If you don't want me to again, just say so, and I won't."
