X's avatar sighs and calls on the winds to lift himself up after her.

The cloning tree is caught in the wind, and lands in the balloon as well, cloning the balloon as well as itself. Now there were two cloning trees!

The balloon was intercepted by Dr. Who Octopus!

[Condensation she/her]

But everyone hopped onto the balloon 2.0 and flew away. "Do you know where the grocery store is?" Melody asked no one in particular.

"No, no I don't," No one in particular said.

"I think it's that way," said X's avatar, making a vague gesture.

[Condensation she/her]

"Eh, that's fine, I don't think we can steer the balloon anyway." Melody sighs. "I wonder where we're going?" She smiles and looks over the side of the balloon.

[Experience he/him]

Hanging on the bottom of the balloon is Melody 6.0!

[Condensation she/her]

"Melody?" the two Melodys say at the same time.

"Another one?" says X's avatar, exasperated.

[Condensation she/her]

"Well, pull me up!" Melody 6.0 yelled.

"Okay," said Melody, pulling Melody 6.0 into the balloon 2.0. "I think I'll call you Song."

"All right!" Song said, climbing over the edge of the basket.

X's avatar greeted Song amiably.

[Condensation she/her]

"Likewise!" said Song.

"Hey, I think the balloon's dropping!" said Melody.

"Here," said X's avatar, giving the balloon a boost with the wind.

Or at least, trying to.

But the Breadmunks were eating the wind.

The wind was fighting back, but wasn't powerful enough.

[Condensation she/her]

As the balloon dropped, Melody could tell that they were heading for a clearing, so she didn't worry much. "Hey!" said Song. "I can tell that too!"

At that moment, however, Y appeared.

"Hello," she called up to the balloon with a smirk. "Fancy seeing you here."

is Y a character from before? I must have missed them. Do they also have an avatar?

[Condensation she/her]

"Oh, yay! It's her again!" Melody exclaimed.

"Wait, you know her?" asked Song.

"Yeah, she attacked us a while back. It was pretty interesting."

Y is just a character, but she can - and has - killed Narrators. She has the power to manipulate wind, just like X's avatar.

X's avatar frantically tried to call up wind, but Y blew it away with a wave of her hand. With a light jump, she flew up and landed on the edge of of the basket.

She reached down and grabbed Melody by the arm, wrenching her out of the basket.

"Sorry about this," she said. "You're coming with me."

With that, she backflipped off the edge of the basket and, with Melody in tow, flew off into the distance.

Song screamed as Melody was pulled away. "Melody!!!"

Melody screamed something indecipherable as she fell out of view.

X's avatar gasped. "No!" he cried, rushing to the side and reaching out as if he could pull Melody back to him. But it was no use. Y was gone, and Melody along with her.

Song sank to the bottom of the basket, sobbing. "She was my other half!"

[Vapor she/her]

A lightning bolt cracks through the sky and Z drops into the hot air balloon.

Song looks up. "Another one?"
