Random Stuff X: Something Weird

PSA: If you pay attention, you never know what fun things you might find outside! Case in point: I found a family of California Quail in a flower bed on BYU campus this morning, and I never would've known they were there if I hadn't heard the babies peeping and taken the time to look for the source of the sound. Everybody else walked right by, completely unaware, except for one guy who thought I was taking pictures of the flowers until I pointed the quail out to him.

Mom (left) and Dad (right) with one of the babies in the center. I'm not sure exactly how many babies there were because they kept dashing in and out of the flowers and I could only ever see one or two at a time.
