Wax has a great ... relationship with Steris.

I know, right? I don't know why, but I really only enjoy the romances in Brandon's books, and the ones I like best tend to be arranged marriages. I dunno what that says about me.

Anyways, Wax. In a more drawn out fight in a different setting, TenSoon would probably win. But in an area-ish battle, Wax's mobility and ranged attacks give him a solid edge.

This is one hard choice to make. Hm. Wax. I almost went with TenSoon, seeing how he's basically immortal and freakishly experienced and all that. But I really want to see Wax up against other characters in the upcoming rounds.

I'm actually going to vote for TenSoon. I've always liked him as a character, and his POV's in Hero of Ages were really interesting to read. Now I like Wax, but he doesn't exactly bring much new to the table. Tensoon's shapeshifting might make for some interesting battles later on.

And Waxillium Ladrian, lawman of the Roughs, is the winner!

And in the next round, we have Kelsier, the Survivor of Hathsin, versus Meagan, also known as the Epic Firefight.

For me it's Kelsier, no question. Of all of the Sanderson characters I've read, he's the one that has resonated the most with me. (HoA Spoilers but not SH)

Spoiler

One of my favorite things about him is that his plot arc isn't all "Kel arrives and busts some heads". He's overmatched by the resources of TLR and even the indivicual houses, but by his cunning and sheer unpredictability he's able to instigate a house war. Kelsier does have his mistborn powers, but he doesn't need them to be awesome.

Kelsier. Megan is awesome, but not Kelsier awesome. In a fight, I'm pretty sure Kelsier would crush Megan, especially if he burns atium.

Are we fighting to the first death, or to permadeath? Because Kelsier wins in the first case, as he's a complete combat monster. However, I don't think he could figure out how to permanently kill Megan before she manages to get the single kill on Kelsier.

I'm going to flip a coin.

Megan

Kelsier.

My favorite Brandon character. I love Kelsiers fightibg abilities, smile, humor and charm. I love that he could have been the villain. I love his "I am hope" scene.

While, on the other hand, I never was fond of Megan. She seemed to much this "hardcore girl" with too little about her that made me like her.

Megan, because I believe that reincarnation falls under the same type of healing as Stormlight or Feruchemical gold, so Kelsier wouldn't be able to kill her.

Kelsier, I mean, he was the best. He was always so positive, and added some lighthearted moments to some pretty dark moments. He had a great father-daughter relationship with Vin, and he always had hope that there might be a better world. Then there was the dichotomy between light and dark in his character (sorry, I'm a lit student, we enjoy being somewhat pretentious) and how he instigated change, and became such a figure in the mythology of the world. Plus, Megan always came off as a bit of the cliche tough girl to me, and I never got hugely into her character.

Khriss. She is one fabulous lady (just look at the first page she's in in White Sand). Plus, she's (probably) the most knowledgeable about the Cosmere, and is just awesome.

Nohadon

I am glad that my nomination made it in.

Nohadon is awesome for many reasons. He wrote the in-world Way of Kings. He's self-sufficient and can handle tough life, as evidenced by his travel to Urithiru. If Dalinar can be trusted, this guy has probably killed thunderclasts. He united Alethkar. This guy is like the second place Jezrien. Who knows what damage he can do with that pointy beard of his?

yeah Nohadon propably he is a skilled warior and leader

khriss may be fabulus but no combat experience

Nohadon, hands down. Khriss might carry most of the knowledge regarding the Cosmere and the shards than any other, and she's a fascinating character (in the prose version anyway, I haven't read the graphic novel). But...not much of a fighter. Not yet. Nohadon, on the other hand, has united a kingdom and killed voidbringers and has been a great warrior and wrote the way of kings and he's awesome and and and yeah.
