I haven't read Emperor's Soul yet soo...Adolin. Even if I had read the Emperor's Soul, I doubt my vote would be any different :D

And Jasnah pulls of the win by one vote!

Up next stood a soldier, clad in a radiant Blue Shardplate, Shardblade in hand. Adolin Kholin. His opponent was Shai, one of the greatest forgers from the planet Sel.

Adolin. I love Shai, but...Adolin. He's amazing, and his relationship with Shallan is very ship-worthy.

Also, it's one of my long standing predictions that Adolin will fight Kaladin in SL 5, the strongest Shardbearer vs the most powerful Surgebinder.

So there's that.

(Though there have been threads that say Shallan will have the strongest powers, I don't think she's likely to fight Adolin)

Adolin. His swordsmanship is just boss, and I can think of one scene in particular that had my heart pounding with excitement. (Will not elaborate due to spoilers).

Shai. I really like her powers and how she uses them in such masterful ways. Her soul stamps were really cool, and I found her get out an interesting situation. Plus, I liked reading about Shai's attitudes towards forgery, and Adolin, while cool, never really stood out to me as a character to me.

And Adolin Kholin is victorious!

Up next is Szeth, the Assassin in White, against Susebron, the God King of Hallandren.

Szeth. Never liked Susebron. Question is who would take it in a fight? I´d be willing to go with Szeth there as well. Blade + healing + lashing feels like it culd beat Susebrons walking wardrobe.

Szeth is just a beast in combat, considering that (WoR spoilers)

Spoiler

He's now got Skybreaker powers, which includes the Surge of Division. He's also no longer limited by his considering of himself as Truthless.

Szeth gave me the feels.

Susebron is a nice guy but Szeth had a more moving character.

Also, Szeth is more experience in combat.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Szeth bandwagon is now loading at gate C4. All passengers are welcome. :P:D

Szeth. I mean, Susebron is okay and all, but Szeth is way cooler. Plus I'm positively sure he'll win a fight against Suseborn

Spoiler

even if he does have his tongue back

Szeth. I'm not sure what would happen if he tried to lash Awakened clothes, but he now has

Spoiler

Nightblood

so that doesn't really matter. As long as he doesn't run out of Stormlight.

current Szeth is

powerless and only has nightblood so he won't be fast enough to dodge or cut all of susebron's ribbons before one of them clubs him or breaks his arm. He still has human durability after all.

Susebron for the win

Susebron, all the way.

Spoiler

Instinctive Awakening by voice alone is stupid powerful, and his perfect Life Sense will ensure that  Szeth will never manage to sneak up on him.

Even if we limit the God King to using sheets and tapestries, Szeth will never manage, before his stormlight runs out, to sever enough sheets to close with the God King. If he goes in before then, he'll just get grappled by like 10 of them, and then the fight's over. And that's all without Seb having access to better things to Awaken.

50,000 breaths is a lot of power.

All hail the God King of Hallandren.

And Szeth, Truthless of Shinovar, the Assassin in White, reigns supreme!

Up next is Syl, an honorspren, against Dalinar, the Blackthorn!

This one's a little tougher for me, but I'm going to have to go with Dalinar because (WoR spoilers)

Spoiler

Syl's the only reason that Kaladin got his Windrunner powers, but I thought Dalinar was a more-compelling character given his inner struggles between Blackthorn!Dalinar and Politician!Dalinar.

Also, a battle between Syl/Dalinar would be no contest.

I'll go Syl because she was interesting to read about as she wasn't human. Plus, I'm really interested in the Spren culture and the politics in their world (I believe that honourspren are involved in that). I do love Dalinar dearly, but I'm not letting Syl go down in a complete knockout.

Syl is a god. At least a little part of one. You have permission to bow now.

She is a spren, which makes her interesting because she is pure investiture. Dalinar is a great character, but Syl is also good and you can't kill a spren.

"You're the strange ones. Break a rock, and it's still there. Break a spren, and she's still there. Sort of. Break a person, and something leaves. Something changes. What's left is just meat. You're weird."

Dalinar's greatest mistake was getting drunk, while Syl has openly defied the Almighty.
