But...but Vin. Precious Vin who learnt so much in the books, who learnt how to use her allomancy, and learnt how to trust people after being abused by her brother. Vin who put some faith in the fact that the nobles couldn't be completely evil and found a way around the problems.

Plus, she did beat Marsh.

Vin, last years champion, has been defeated!

In the next fight, Taravangian will fight Adolin Kholin!

*runs into thread*

*sees Vin defeated*stretches out hand and plunges towards Vin in an attempt to save her*

-slow motion-

"Buutt I forgot to voooooote!"

*trips on feet and falls face-down*

*clears throat* Anyway, as much as I like Adolin...TERRY FTW

YES MARSH MARSH MARSH

Anyway Taravangian over Adolin. Adolin's great and all, but he wasn't all that interesting in WoK and Taravangian is a much more important part of the plot.

And you guys know the drill, upvote for Terry supporters. I love you guys.

As much as i like Taravangian as a villian, i just like Adolin much more. (And i really hope he will become a Stoneward, or at least revive his shardblade^^)

Adolin all the way. Taravangian might be worldly important stuff, but he isn't around much into the story. Adolin is just one of the best characters ever, period. I believe in you Adolin, I believe in your potential, so of course you'll stab Taravangian, on one of his weak day.

Adolin. Unless the Diagram has the off switch to Shardplate written on it somewhere. Plus I can never vote for a villain, and Adolin seems to have a knack for killing scheming brightlords.

Szeth, for three reasons:

1. Raw skill:

Szeth is just insane on the battlefield, especially because he's used to fighting opponents in full Shardplate who have added strength and resiliency.

2. Counter-tactics:

Szeth's surges make him a quickly-moving target, difficult to hit with to coin or other projectile and able to lash objects to shield himself. Wax, although he can push off of objects and manipulate his weight, cannot fly effortlessly through the air like Szeth can, and so Wax will be an easy target for Szeth's speed and blade.

3. Resiliency:

Szeth, given enough stormlight, can regenerate from anything short of a direct hit in the head. Wax, on the other hand, does not even have access to pewter, and so cannot take any hits without being seriously injured if not killed outright.

Wax is one of the most dangerous contestants in this tournament. He's like legolas with guns and flight. I have no doubt that he can put a bullet through szeth's eye if they stay on the ground. Szeth also doesn't know what a gun is, so Wax might get his first shot off while szeth isn't trying that hard to dodge. Oh, and current szeth has no powers and his only weapon is a sword that will kill him if he unsheathes it (as far as we know)

Wax wins easy. Assuming that we are using the current Szeth, Szeth can't even use Nightblood, because he doesn't have anything to power it except for his life. As Szeth is left weaponless without his honorblade, Wax stomps.

I was going to say Szeth, then I remembered his current state. Wax can just shoot the guy. Plus, I prefer Wax as a character, so that's two for two.

Szeth because he is far more interesting than Wax, who was a very typical hero for me. Szeth just appealed more as a character to me.

Like Calypsodreaming, I think Wax is way to typical. Szeth is just awesome no matter how you look at him. I have been waiting so agonizingly long for his backstory, and want to find out what is going on with Nightblood (who, you realize, has to kill people who think they are evil).

is this even worth debating this ? ... Szeth son Neturo

szeth is faster better and stronger than Wax and waaaaaay harder to kill

he only needs to touch wax and that would be enough to seal his demise , and with his regeneration powers bullets won't be an isue

a headshot could be effective, but as we know a basic lashing can protect him from projectiles

... smn could argue that at the end of book 2 he loses his honor blade and therefore his lashings , but naaaaah it is after the book ends doesn't count.
