I really want to read the Skindancer doc now. What in the name of sanity made them use Burnt as the fake scanner again?
Though, to be fair, my first thought when Wonko told me she was a Skindancer was "the Skindancers wouldn't have been dumb enough to have her do that again, would they?". So I guess it helped. But still...

Hahahahaaa... Maybe because i really really like being a scanner? So decided that was what i was going to do? No one complained so...why not  It made things amusing.  + reverse psychology. There's no way we would do that. So of course we do it.

Also my favorite role so, of course ima go do it. It's fun seeing who you can fool twice

I mean. Even if you were scanning, you would think someone would have the sense to say "why don't we have someone else pretend to have Linguistics Analysis instead of Burnt". Eh, whatever. But seriously, gah. Why.

Well, obviously you never scanned a Skindancer; what would you have gained from that?

 

I still consider Lopen confirmed, but I think we're essentially back to square one regarding most others. Some analysis of the scans she gave us may yield some fruit, but we're always going to be wondering 'but what if that's what she wanted us to think?'.

 

I'd also note that the Skindancers have attacked Muffin twice now. I'm doing everything I can to keep him alive and sane, but I would appreciate some help on that.

What would she have gained? Legitimacy for the Skindancer, obviously. At least until she was revealed. Very useful. And that also means that the list of players is not in fact cleared.

Although, she didn't actually scan any eliminators last time, so who knows?

No, not what would she gain from claiming to scan an Eliminator, what would she gain from actually using her action to scan them. She'd just learn something she could have just as easily asked about in the doc.

 

She's challenging Muffin to scan her again, then including that sentence to make it seem like the list is cleared. I was calling her on it.

One or two (or more. You don't know) of them are accurate. I even put the order in and everything. I put effort into scans for you! Just... maybe not all of them.

That's a good point -- I announced the times of each scan; is anyone willing to come forward and admit to having lied on the turn Burnt supposedly confirmed them?

 

I will say that I have not lied the entire game. I'm sort of against it, if you hadn't caught on by now.

Hey I did too scan an eliminator last time. Elkanah. Otherwise i just did as I was told. wasn't my fault that you guys were all suspicious of the wrong people...

Well right now, like she said I can make a bloodless once per turn, but then I don't get to scan. I also recieved a gram last turn. I'm pretty well protected, but I'm sure there's things I'm bulnerable against.

I think I will scan burned, she said that she hasn't scanned a skindancer. If she's telling the truth, then that means all the people who are cleared are still cleared and that I don't have to go back through, wasting precious time. I don't know how effective it'll be though, because there could be a lot of half lies.

No, it doesn't, Muffin. Like I pointed out, she did not say 'I never claimed to have scanned someone who is a Skindancer'. You would be playing into her hands and proving nothing. She wants you to scan her, Muffin, because she wants you to waste a turn.

 

Remember, she is your enemy. If there was anything to be gained from scanning her, anything at all, she would just tell a lie and invalidate the scan.

I get your point, and was originally going to refuse to scan her… but thinking about it. If the fact that she's never scanned a skindancer is truth, then that means everyone currently scanned wouldn't be skindancers, which means they're cleared. I'm not saying I expect a whole lot from it, just saying that if it comes back as truth… then we don't have to rescan everyone she scanned.

Yeah, honestly we should've considered that the skindancers would just pm spy on whoever claims to be the voice for the analyst. Which means, we really should've leveled more suspicion on Burned since she was the analyst for so long without harassment.

I'd also like to point out that you seem particularly bloodthirsty, Wonko. Burnt is not in a position to inflict any meaningful sort of damage. Why are you so insistent that she dies this turn?

Kill ALL the Skindancers!!!   Seriously though, I think we should kill Skindancers as fast as possible, so I don't mind Wonko's "bloodthirstiness." (Not sorry Burnt  )

 

Just as an update, my suspicions/trusts list that I posted earlier doesn't really change much with this new information. I think the only changes I'd make would be to move Dano and Burnt into the "suspects" group(well, move Burnt into the "Skindancer for sure that needs to be killed because evilness needs to be eradicated" group  ) and STINK into the "meh, I haven't looked over Clankys theory again yet but I don't really suspect him much and there is some evidence that actually points to him being a Student, like him putting a good amount of EP into Archives and Assassinating PK at the same time the Skindancers attacked PK" group.
