To respond to everyone's votes on me, (not quoting, because they are on 3 different pages.) I apologize Burnt, but I was not aware that you were that poor, and I hope you can make tuition. You may have to go to Devi for it though. And as for the reasons on the votes, I will not say what it is, as I'm still waiting for confirmation, but through an action, I'm not totally sure of you guys right now. And as for deathclutch, I didn't intentionally mean to do that much damage to Burnt, just acting on my suspicions, and I hadn't posted yet, because yesterday was Sunday, and I don't get on the computer on Sunday, thus no posting.

Seeing as BB has 3 votes, I think I'll take mine off of him. For the tution reduction, Elbereth. I'm so good, I'm returning favours! See?! :D

It seems like a lot of votes are going for inactives and while that might work well in a normal game that doesn't seem a good strategy due to how quickly this game seems to kill off inactives.

I am going to vote for the people that I have some suspicions of. Kynedath and Lopen.

Voting for El is the same thing as voting for Burnt, so unless you have a real suspicion, I suggest you keep your votes off the Edema Ruh.

I'll vote on Mailliw, just because he doesn't have any votes on him, so a single vote shouldn't hurt.

Edit: also, don't the poorest people have the best musical ability? After one or two cycles, they should be raking in a decent income.

Since I forgot to comment on this last turn and the turn before, let me do so now:

The part in the rules about tuition being calculated each month and averaged together didn't actually make it into the spreadsheet. Right now, the spreadsheet factors tuition on a term basis, so no averaging. Could I change the functions to make it an average and therefore fit what's in the rules? Yes. Do I want to? Not particularly, since I've already broken the tuition spreadsheet once and I'd really prefer not to break it again. So don't worry about averaging your months/turns to get the lowest tuition.

PK, the fact is, one vote does hurt. Anyone who gets a single complaint on them will have the Masters' DP spread to them. Since I've been On the Horns two of the three cycles so far, and almost so the first cycle, I'd prefer if you voted for me for legitimate reasons, please. If you have an actual suspicion, fine. Since I've got nothing to go off, I'm keeping my votes on inactives whose tuition is already high or those whose behavior seems off.

What else do we have to go off of right now? At this point, I'm just trying to survive.

Also, thanks for showing up. Dowanx and Thisismyusername. Sorry TIMU, I didn't see your post earlier.

So, just to reduce tuition, Silverblade. Please show up. (If you have posted recently and I just missed it, then please tell me.)

@Maill,

Oops. I'd forgotten Elbereth was an edema ruh. My bad. I really want to vote on someone, but I fear it'll put me in their bad books for this game. So, I think I'll just refrain from voting solely for tution reduction.

The month and term will end in approximately 4 hours from now. Don't forget to get your actions in (if you have them) and your lodging requests--particularly your lodging, since this time, I won't be lenient and give people 12 hours to change their lodging. What you send (or don't send) is what you get. And the mercenaries roaming the streets really like to kill.

Any reason? Or is it still just because I seem "off" to you? I'm not sure why you feel that way if that's true, but I'll ask you to go over my posts again and see how you feel after that. You said that about me on one of the first Turns(Months), so for you to keep voting on me without saying more is kinda frustrating. I already have a vote on me, so are you saying you want to get me expelled?

I would guess the Edema Ruh have good musical ability, because that fits with who they are in the books(I haven't read the books yet, just researched a little). Still, it's not guaranteed that they'll get the Talent Pipes if they try for them.

Edit: I am not a Skindancer.

our musical abilities mean half price rooms. the talent pipe stats are still randomized. I got a pretty average stat for mine

Danosaur and Sasuke. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe neither of you have posted yet.

I am counter-voting Mailliw73 as I do have a post on the first page

Sry folks. I just don't have anything to go off of, and in not normally a provocative person. I'm normally at my best when being reactive, like I am now.

And another cycle has gone past without me seriously contributing. Apologies Araris... I blame the folks over at the SteelMinistry for distracting me to theorise about the workings of alomancy... I've got class for the next hour, but the hour after, I'll start working through the player list, and doing some analysis.

Pointing out that I've not seen Stink post this cycle. Or Kipper.

Gone. Missing. Vanished. Hiding? Invisible? Lost? Whatever it was, he couldn't find Kipper anywhere. He'd given him the slip and foiled his plan. How could he be expected to find the best time and place to prank someone if they left no trace to track!? He was going to have to try something different. He was going to have to look for him outside of the library. At least the weeks of searching the library for Kipper had gained him some knowledge on the nature of fiends. He'd also added a third item to the list - he was going to need one 'Powerful Parody' to make his plan work.

So he spent the rest of the month searching every nook and cranny of the short hallway leading to the library for Kipper. This involved lots of sleeping. And eating. The occasional thought may have passed through his head too, though he couldn't be certain. Although he certainly didn't do any of this in the library hall. No, not at all. Much to classy for that. Going to class really did mess with his schedule.

Well, sorry guys but I totally lost track of time for this game and now I guess the cycle is pretty much over. Since I haven't really been keeping track of things, I am not going to vote this cycle. The tuition reduction isn't really that helpful and overall we have actually been increasing tuition as a group because of double-votes. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, more just to point out how I feel kind of lost as to strategy in this game so far. And just to say something concrete, regardless of how unhelpful, I attempted for talent pipes during Term 1, Month 2 and failed, and my character was very confident in his musical ability.

Sorry, Danosaur. I'm on mobile all week and didn't want to go check. I'd prefer to not write an apology again though if you wouldn't mind retracting yours too.

Honestly, I'm not rreally sure who to vote for, I've been busy a lot recently and I'm not really sure who seems suspicious to me, so I'm just going off of the votes I've already seen.

Bridgeboy, because a lot of people seem to think he's no bueno

Other than that… um… idk if I have to vote twice for the tuition reduction, but whatever. I don't want to falsely accuse someone and bring negative consequences down on someone who is innocent, so I'll hold my other vote and just go with bridge boy.

No problem Mailliw, I am shifting my vote to Stink as he is one of the ones who have not posted this round and he is a noble so he can afford the extra tuition.

Hi there. Silverblade.

Well then, how about weaving webs?

So how come players haven't been doing the whole 'I am not a Skindancer' thing lately? Shouldn't we be doing that like, each Month? (This is mainly a reminder, since I forgot to do it until my last posts edit.)

I've made an "I am not a Skindancer" claim in my first post of every turn since I came up with it, and I haven't told a lie all game. If a Linguistic Analyust checks me at any time, I'll be cleared.
