I'm working my way through the somewhat divisive part of Bravely Default at the moment (For the record, I'm loving it), but I've been suddenly struck by a powerful "God I love Xenogears and Xenosaga and Xenoblade so much, I should replay one of them" mood, and returned my ng+ run of Xenoblade 3. I started this hoping to take notes on all the named townsfolk NPCs so I can flesh out their pages on the Xeno Series Wiki, but life stuff got in the way of that and slowed it way down (Also I accidentally saved over my actual ng+ save with a whole new save I made to double check some stuff). Time to pick back up the pace

Fire Emblem Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and Samurai Warriors 4: Empires.

FEW - I was just in the mood to play it last week, and I've enjoyed the time I've spent with it. It's still not as good as Three Hopes, but it's better than I remember. I still have MASSIVE issues with the cast size and repeated builds, but once you get past those there's a decent game inside.

Three Hopes - I brought it out because I wanted to get a better experience from FEW, even as I was enjoying my time with it. Right now I'm torn between finishing my Azure Gleam playthrough and starting a new one for easier access to training time to unlock classes, or doing what I've been doing and going to the Record Keeper to replay maps to grind for classes. I've also considered playing Verdant Wildfire, as it's the last route to play, but I don't care enough about the three characters I haven't unlocked to play it. (Claude, Hilda, Holst. Between AG and SB, you get all of the other Golden Deer.)

Samurai Warriors 4: Empires - This game allows me to conquer Japan and ship both historical and fictional characters while doing so! I've also been inspired by some characters (both historical from the game and some original characters) for some worldbuilding I've been doing for a book series I want to write. (Background, characterization, intercharacter dynamics, and more!)

Crusader Kings II. So far as Alfonso VI of León, I have: married my cousin. Had a daughter. Tried to kill my sister in law (fail and put her in jail). Put down a minor rebellion. Tried to kill my sister (die before the plot goes anywhere). Host a tournament and a bunch of summer fairs. Been reprimanded by the Pope. Died a natural death at 40, daughter Sancha becomes Queen of León at 12, with her paternal grandmother as regent.

As Sancha I have: married my second cousin. Held a bunch of feasts. Married my mother off to the heir to the English throne, she has a daughter so far with Prince William. Denied my cousin a position on my council. She rebels. Put down rebellion, imprison her daughters, exile her, give her lands to her husband. Probably gonna assassinate her later. I have a councilor who served Sancha's father well and faithfully, and he needs some lands.

I'm wanting to play through Fire Emblem Awakening, since I know how to speed through that game, but I'm torn as to whether I want to romance Nowi, Tiki, or Aversa.

On one hand, I like Nowi's Marriage Quotes and she joins the earliest, meaning I can get Nah and Morgan SUPER early.

On the other hand, I like the idea of Tiki better. Sure, she joins later, but I think her Supports are overall better, and I like the idea of Sorcerer!F!Morgan having a canon reason to use Book of Naga and Goetia.

On a third hand, I love Aversa and giving Morgan Shadowgift, because it's hilarious to see a Sage, Dark Knight, or Tactician use Mire from across the map. (Sage is the best IMO, because you can use Magic and can Heal; and if you add a few Rally Skills like Spectrum and Heart, then you've got an All-Purpose-Unit.) But romancing Aversa requires me to get to the Endgame, and by that point, I don't need Morgan anymore.

Or I can pull a switcheroo and be F!Robin and romance Priam. Yeah, I like to do that. Sue me.

Or I could just get back to grinding out my latest Fates Revelation playthrough, but I don't want to do that right yet...

Or I could do some damage in a new (or old?) playthrough of Engage, but that's like going through Fates, in that it's a lot of work for a little investment unless you're dedicated at that moment in time.

Honestly, I just want a new Fire Emblem to come out, but I'll settle for Dark Deity 2 in a couple of weeks...

Black Ops Cold War; it’s one that I turn in to prime my sniping abilities and skills. One day I’ll get Black Ops 1-3 and Modern Warfare 2 the originals or course.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order; I love the world building and sword fighting along with the force abilities. I still haven’t started Survivor.

Minecraft : I just started playing it again. Sometimes you do every now and then.

im always playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. That’s my phone game that I turn on whenever.

Been playing Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Canon of Creation route. This game is surprisingly addictive. It strikes a good balance with the difficulty, with the normal encounters being pretty easy as long as you're careful, but still being stuck for an hour or two on certain bosses.

I'm also really enjoying the story. After hearing so much that this game has pretty much no story, my expectations steered too much in that direction, which means I'm getting a lot more than I was expecting (plus I hear Canon of Vengeance is supposed to be even more plot focused, so looking forward to that). The characters are simple, but I like them quite a bit and it's easy to care about them. Which is such an upgrade from IV. That game had amazing gameplay and atmosphere, but the main 3 have got to be the flattest characters I've seen in a game.

Soundtrack is an absolute banger.

I love the idea of demon navigators, and I love the Demon Haunt. Gotta bond with my little child killing spirits and soul sucking demons.

Quite addicted to this game atm. That and FFXIV. I'm only at the base game and I was playing very rarely on and off, but now I've hit some kind of stride with that game and now I can't stop. I'm supposed to be finishing other stuff but these two have really been occupying my gaming time.

I've been playing Silksong. And it is everything I could've wanted in a sequel. There is a ton of content, and I do mean a literal ton of content. Think you're almost finished, that you've acquired all the abilities, found all the areas, and now just need to search meticulously through every area to get to that 100% completion? Wrong! Here's a million more things to do, and tons more story content.

The difficulty of this game is what I've been most worried about during the wait. I was a little worried that, as someone who's gotten all achievements, done the path of pain, and beat P5 with all bindings (separately) in Hollow Knight that Silksong would be a little too easy. My biggest fear was that I would steamroll my way through the game until maybe the last few bosses, never really being challenged. Was this the case? Heck no. This game is incredibly difficult and challenging, more than Hollow Knight every was. Team Cherry may have gone a little too far in some areas, (looking at you, double damage hazards) but overall this game has been an extremely fun, challenging experience for me that has by far surpassed Hollow Knight. (Steel soul is going to be insane).

Don't you think you're forgetting bilewater? 3 damage hazards, if you think about it.

Well, I had the wreath of purity when I entered bile water for the first time, so I didn’t have too bad a time.

Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom!

out of curiosity, did you play Breath of the Wild first?

I'm playing Skyrim again. I've got a modlist of about 80 mods, most of which are weapons, armor, and NPCs. So far I've finished the Companions questline and Dawnguard. I haven't really started the Civil War or any of the other faction quests, and I've only retrieved the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller in the main quest so far. Having lots of fun sidequesting though.

Starting Bioshock Infinite and genuinely considering the possibility that maybe the director watched Tangled and really, really wanted to have Rapunzel in his game. Movie and game share entire scenes like, damn.

On that note, Bioshock 2 was an absolute gem. Loved that game.

Finished Shin Megami Tensei V, Canon of Creation route at 77 hours. I'd say it's an excellent second impression of the mainline series after the only other one I've finished, which is IV.

Combat is excellent, customization is ridiculous, I like the characters, I like having these big-ish areas to explore that are so packed, exploration was one of the highlights. Music is great, I love that there's so many battle themes, but I guess that's a staple of the series to begin with.

I'm trying really hard to tie my hands and wait at least, like, till tomorrow before starting Canon of Vengeance. It's a weird feeling, today was a long session, the superboss and the final boss were exhausting (superboss in a good way, final boss in a bad way), I really need to go do something else. But I'm also kind of eager to see what's in store. I'm going to wait tho.

Great game overall. Super excited about the second route since general opinion seems to be that the story is a lot better. A bit concerned about the fact that it's apparently only Law and Chaos. I'm not used to that, Neutral is supposed to be the true route in this series. We'll see what that is about.
