Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I really enjoyed hemalurgy 101 but those lab practicals were murder 15
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 The cheating is annoying, too. Timmy always sneaks his coppermind into tests. Violet Riots everyone whenever she gives a speech in English, and don't get me started on Fast Eddy. Steel compounding just isn't fair in phys ed - he's a telekinetic speedster! 7
Awesomeness Summoned he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Things just got out of hand though when those students from Alethi High transferred over. How was I supposed to take anything the physics teacher said seriously when that windrunner clique kept walking around on the ceiling? 8
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Or when the Lightweavers kept making illusions of the Principals to scare the teachers? Stormlight should be banned from school 1
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 They've tried, but the Larkin's keep running away. 2
Delightful Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Your school is on a greatshell? Do you get a day off when there's a war? 2
Ketek Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 The Dustbringers are such bullies too. They keep melting my pants off and turning my desk into dust! To make it worse there's no Skybreakers around to uphold the school law... 1
Delightful Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Just hang around, a Windrunner will be along to protect you shortly. Once they get off the ceiling. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 The Slider and Pulser kids got pretty popular in my class, though. With them no class is boring. Sadly, The teacher forced them to sit away from the rest of the class on tests. 1
Gabriele she/her Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 When you start using Scadrian metal symbols in Chemistry for your own notes- either Feruchemical of Allomantic depending on the context. Or, better yet, when you decide to learn the Alethi alphabet to take notes no one but a dedicated Sanderfan could read. Besides, it's up there on your list of fantasy languages to learn along with Dovah Speech, Tolkein Elvish, Dothraki, and Valyrian. Lol, that reminds me of the time I developed my own script as an unholy mix of Latin letters, Runes and Linear B glyps, with a few Cyrillic letters thrown in. But what's even more fun is that I still can use it 30 years later. 2
Gabriele she/her Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Now imagine the Cosmere High School gets an exchange student agreement with Hogwarts. 1
Delightful Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Now imagine the Cosmere High School gets an exchange student agreement with Hogwarts. Could you lash Peeves to the ceiling, or Soothe him so that he'd be quiet? 2
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Things degraded quickly from there. The Elantis crew sided with the wizards, but the Allomancers went to ground and started hitting them from places you:d never expect. Once someone figured out Larkins could drain most spells right out of the air - well, it wasn't pretty. 1
Delightful Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Except for those few whose patronii protected them. The Dementors started attacking the larkins who were stealing all their hope and happiness and magic, while the giant squid in the lake wanted it's larkin back and started getting grumpy. Meanwhile Vasher stood at the whomping willow, constantly infusing it with breaths to keep people away from the kandra hideout it lead to. 3

Gabriele she/her Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Now you've really made me wonder if a Shardblade can kill Voldemort. Or Nightblood. 2

Delightful Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Or is Voldemort really Adonalsium, and each Horcrux is a Shard? 4
Kobold King he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Or is Voldemort really Adonalsium, and each Horcrux is a Shard? Bavadin is Harry Potter. Rayse is Ron. Khriss is Hermione. Logically, Hoid is Professor Slughorn and Dumbledore is Nazh. 1
PorridgeBrick he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Or is Voldemort really Adonalsium, and each Horcrux is a Shard? Harry Potter has seven books in the series.Dragonsteel, the tale of the Shattering, has seven books. Half-Life 3 confirmed. 4
Lightsworn Panda he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 You know you're a Sanderfan when you prefer metal culinary items to wooden or plastic ones, since they give you an unexpected power rush. 3
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) You know you're a Sanderfan when you often think of things to post on 17th Shard during you day-to-day life. In the shower, driving, while talking to other people... Alas, this thread has been quite derailed. I might just make a cosmere-Harry Potter matchup thread, though, because that was beautiful. And I have more to add. Edit: Topic made. Edited May 13, 2014 by GreyPilgrim 1
Delightful Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 You know you're a sanderfan when, whilst standing in a crowded shop, you wish you could Lash yourself to the ceiling to get some space. And then wonder what the room would look like when it's upside-down.
Left he/him Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 When you read Delightful's post and you're like, "Pffhh, being a lurcher would be better. All the stores have all the long metal rafters that you could swing on like Tarzan.
