It took you a lot longer to get her to read Mistborn than it did me to get you to read Mistborn. In the time it took for you to get 1 person to read Mistborn, I convinced 6 people to read Mistborn (although to be fair only 4 so far have actually read past the first book). I think my friend has the record for fastest conversion. I'd seen her reading WoK in the mornings, but one day at lunch she just up and dragged me to the library and checked out the first two MB books. I started reading immediately. So... A ten-minute conversion? Then again, as you may be able to tell from my username, I read a lot of things. ... Some of them are... Bad... and I really should've done more research into them before starting. 2

It was a funny post. When you see the word 'void' and your first thought is Voidus. When you wear a Sanderson shirt to your first day of school, and ask one of your teachers if she's read anything by him - and decide to do the rest next time. When a teacher wants you to make "name glyphs" (name tags, apparently, only you draw on them) and you try to remember glyphs. And utterly fail. 1

Silva Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Someone says the cookies were spiked. This girl I knew would get so hyper after eating this one type and would say that. I always did a double-take and checked to be certain they weren’t 3

MountainKing Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Spoilers for Harry Potter Would you spike out all of their magic or just certain types, and what about those with special skills, does Harry's magic and Horocrux status count as one thing or two things? 1
Ethan_sedai he/him Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 when you're asking your friends about how they will get somewhere, and your friend who works for Brandon says that he can just walk from Cosmere, and you DEMAND to know where the perpendicularity is before you realize he means where he works Sorry about not giving all that much information about what he does for Brandon, I'll ask him next time I see him. Also, in addition to picking up other habits from Alcatraz, I've picked up some habits that were around a while back in the shard, and I've also learned how to use footnotes!* 3
HeyLookItz he/him Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 When you get your sister to finally read Mistborn, and the first thing you do is put it on the 17S. Guess what? I finally got my sister to read Mistborn! 1

Ink he/him Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 YKYASFW your science teacher from last year got a bunch of sanderson swag, and gives some of it to you and your friend, and you get extremely hyped. (I got a Syl sticker and a bookmark with a map of Roshar, my friend got a koloss sticker and a map of Luthadel) 4

Although mine did respond to my joke about cosplaying Kelsier, after my lab partner accidentally shattered a test tube, which nearly cut my arms. 3

When, after the summer, you return to school to find that she's finally finished Mistborn. She loved it and said it was the main thing she read all summer. I'm so going to nerd out with her...even though I no longer take biology. Full circle - this was my first post on this thread. When you do a double take upon reading the name Senna in Breaking Dawn, then conclude that obviously Leras was talking about a worldhopping vampire and the Twilight Earth is in the cosmere. Because what possible other options are there? Definitely no others. DEFINITELY.
Ink he/him Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Why is it always the science teachers who are converted? when you're reading a book (Earth Unaware. Orson Scott Card. Check it out!) and someone's name is Wit, and you can't not think of Hoid. 2
