Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when every time you hear "misting fan" or "storms" or "calamity" you think there is another Sanderfan in the room. Also when you realize that you have gone a long time without actively using your left hand. 6
Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I guess there's also the thing where when I find out that there is a guy at my school who has read the Stormlight Archive, I think "YES!" then try to impress him... 8
Sarcasm she/her Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 You know you’re a Sanderfan when you go to this Academic Awards thing for school, and upon receiving medals, spend the ride home in fear of meeting an Allomancer, who could strangle you with your physical representations of effort (medals) 5
Silverblade5 he/him Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 When you always have something colorful with you When you program in alethi when you want to join the knights awkward When you've been part of the Infinity Blade forum For over two years When you ask your questions on a phone when you can't attend signings 8
Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I don't even know how to write in Alethi, though I think that would be cool. And would make me even more of a fanatic. 2
Popular Post Kairos Posted May 23, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when every time you hear "misting fan" or "storms" or "calamity" you think there is another Sanderfan in the room. Also when you realize that you have gone a long time without actively using your left hand. Testimonial: I was driving along, and saw a hotel sign which said: Cool breeze misting fans. Of course, I thought there was a Sanderfan convention I was unaware of, celebrating Breeze and other mistings....I was wrong. 24
Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 That is awesome. I had a similar experience in a grocery store, where they were selling those water spray thingies with the fans on them (don't know how else to describe them), and I was caught off guard. 3
Shattered he/him Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when you're sitting in physics class, wondering why your teacher isn't explaining that gravity is an object's spiritual connection with the ground. 8
Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I keep posting here... sorry. but you know when you are a Sanderfan when your sister (who is almost literally just skin and bones) goes around saying "I am a stick" and you tell her to stop saying it because she doesn't get the reference! 6
natc Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when you're sitting in physics class, wondering why your teacher isn't explaining that gravity is an object's spiritual connection with the ground. It can't be the ground though. All objects exert gravitational force on all other objects, so the connection is actually between everything and everything else.
Xaladin he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Someone in Church was passing around Rolos, and the phrase that dominated my mind was "You poor rulos." I keep posting here... sorry. but you know when you are a Sanderfan when your sister (who is almost literally just skin and bones) goes around saying "I am a stick" and you tell her to stop saying it because she doesn't get the reference! You should call her Leky Stick. 9
Mistrunner Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 You should call her Leky Stick. Oh my gosh... I just realized... Leky Stick. Stick. Sarene was a stick. This makes me unreasonably happy. 5
Shattered he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Oh my gosh... I just realized... Leky Stick. Stick. Sarene was a stick. This makes me unreasonably happy. I'm still not quite sure where everyone got their fascination with Stick from. I mean, almost every single other similar object on Roshar (rocks, other sticks, etc.) probably does the same thing.
Redbird he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 So I just started Daredevil, and as the rest of you probably thought, it reminded me of Spook in HoA 5
Kairos Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when you have a splinter and are excited about it. 12
Silverblade5 he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know you're a sanderfan when you make people from other forums join 3

And the April Fools Stick interlude probably had something to do with it. 1
Sarcasm she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know you're a Sanderfan when you break your kindle after hurling it at the wall and cursing Brandon after the Twist at the end of WOR , and sprain your wrist punching the wall, demanding that Brandon publish Stones Unhallowed immediately. 11
Sarcasm she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know you're a sanderfan when you're reading/posting/theorizing while having sex Is that a phone/tablet, or are you just happy to see me? It's a phone. Now go away. I hate to double post, but WHAT? 2
Kobold King he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 When you'd rather be doing something sanderson related than having sex. "Mommy, how are babies made?" "Well you see, when Daddy's Kindle battery goes out and he can't find any of his hardcover copies..." 13
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 When you know you'd be a terrible Mistborn because you are always losing your change. 5
natc Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 When you know you'd be a terrible Mistborn because you are always losing your change. When you think the same due to not even having any change. 4
Allomancy she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know when you're a sanderfan when you never skip to the back of book, because there might be a page devoted to telling you off about doing so. 10
