I mean I wrote out a list and voted on Ink, they didn't all have bulleted reasons but I at least talked about my vote and I think it was decently clear that I'm just sheeping Illwei on TUC :P.

I have minor sus on Myst, but other than that I'm not sure. I think that trying to figure out the loyalty ratio so early on doesn't make sense, as I presume that we couldn't lose the deposition vote at this point. That being said, I think that Myst redeems himself with this comment, as I don't think an elim would point this out so early.

I’m noticing two main conversations atm, about role distro and deposition so here’s my thoughts on that for now.

Distro: 
There’s definitely a mavset-I’m. Why is this a question? Jo wouldn’t just make a role and then not put it in, especially not a role that’s specifically an elim role and even more especially not a conversion role. There being a conversion is a main motivator for village to keep loyalty up (or down ig if you’re playing to be converted). I genuinely don’t understand why this is a question and has been a topic of so much discussion. And even in the (very) unlikely world that there isn’t one, we should still play as if there is because we won’t know until they flip.

Deposition: 
I don’t think we should do a deposition tonight. I have two reasons for this. One, there is a chance the starting distro is funky enough and/or the elims could pull something and we just lose right there. I don’t particularly want to take that risk. It’s a small risk, yes, but still. Second, I don’t love the idea of mass revealing loyalty. I think that gives the elims more info than it does us, giving them a better idea of who to target as well as how close they are to being able to depose in the future. So I don’t think it’s a particularly good idea. 
I do understand that it’s probably going to happen, but I urge those who are considering introducing the motion to reconsider.

In terms of votes, I’m not quite sure who to vote yet. I’d say I’m looking at TUC and Mint the most atm. I’m also kind of looking at Myst but I’m hesitant to get him out C1 again.

Mainly how hard he’s pushing the deposition. As I said I don’t think that’s a good idea (and others have also presented good arguments against it so I don't like that he’s continued on that track.

He outright admitted that as elim he would push for deposition and then "saves it" by saying he wouldn't push for increasing loyalty when that actually seems like an elim thing to do. You wouldn't just say, we should depose the queen! You would have some sort of "would an elim really do this though?"

Did that come off too aggressive?

Coco currently hasn't posted more than 1 post. I don't feel bad about that single post so far but until more content I have no good reason to take them out of the pool. 

Hopper is in the same boat as Coco, but with smaller pop ins iirc that don't really provide anything. 

Myst I don't have a strong feeling one way or another as of this moment. I mildly want to call them a villager but it's not strong enough with what's happened so far. I think they have been calm cool and collected, but their comparison with Hoid post doesn't sit totally right with me. IIRC people don't want to kill them anyways, as they were C1d last game. 

Twin Is a mild Elim lean in the first place from their first post. They come back to not really give any thoughts anyways, but the first post is a standard "I will be back, but I'm here so see I'm paying attention and care about the game!" kinda post. Not AI always but I do have a watch on them atm. 

Ink I think has basically the same thing, the non-post posts. the most engaged was his responses to Mat, which I find interesting with Mat voting on him. He comments on himself (past games), Mech (Talk with Mat), and then asks the GMs a question. While he does sound pretty comfortable in thread, this isn't enough right now for me. 

Mint is someone who I really wanna hear more from those voting/suspecting them. I'll read through again but I don't quite follow the reasoning. I don't have enough that I want to place them in my Village reads, but I'm also not sure they belong on the kill list as of this moment. 

 

Does anyone have any thoughts to add on to this? To counter to this?

You took that out of context. I meant that they would have something to make pushing for deposition less suspicious. It is only C1 but I still think that deposing the queen is objectively better for the elim.

Edit: Plus, if we sort of "normalize" it as an advantage it then let's an elim depose without being immediately suspicious
