Shall I PM you that? Your bane will be that nothing I will say will make anything easier to understand.

Granted. Your bane is that I don't have any fun banes to give you.

I wish for a personal helper bot.

Granted. Your bane is that it is very annoying.

I wish for a funny bane.

I wish to meet Brandon Sanderson and ask him a few questions.

The Nightwatcher smiles and summons a tied up, gagged, and unconcious Brandon Sanderson.

I wish that no one in my family will die of any infectious diseases.

I wish I could become a windrunner.

Ah, this is the wish of many. A wise wish, and it shall be granted. Your bane shall be the loss of your eyesight, so that you may become closer to the wind than all others.

I wish for wisdom.

Granted, but the the amount of wisdom you have is inversely proportionate to the amount of compassion you have. It varies day by day.

Granted, you are now known as one of the wisest people on earth. People flock to you for your advice. Your bane is that people always follow your advice, not realizing that you aren’t perfect. Your advice may be spot on 99% of the time, but it always seems to fail when it matters the most.
