Granted, but you cannot find nor purchase any shavings of the metal. What you have with you at the moment is what you get.

I wish for Louisiana.

Granted. Mosquitos. Enough said.

I wish for sunglasses.

Granted. They have solid black lenses, but on the bright side (or, well, the dark side) no amount of sunlight will get through!

I wish for more dice.

Granted. But since this is the Nightwatcher, these are no ordinary dice. They are in fact perfect gems that never leak their stormlight housed within cut Rosharan glass spheres.

The first is a 10 sided di which houses a sapphire, and each face is etched with Arabic numerals. When rolled it causes you to shrink or grow by a factor of 10. A roll of 5 results in your body being its natural size, every number lower than 5 results in a shrinking, and every number above 5 results in you growing. So if you are naturally 6 feet tall, a roll of 4 would result in you scaling proportionally to a new height of .6 ft or 7.2 inches tall. The 10 fold reduction scale continues on down to the roll of 1, which would give you a scaled proportional height of .0006 ft, or .0072 inches or .182 mm, half as tall as the diameter of the thinnest sewing needle. If you roll a 6 you would become 60 feet tall up through a 10 making you 600,000 ft tall or 113 miles tall, at this scale your head would be in the upper reaches of the mesosphere, the stratosphere and troposphere would swirls around your ankles and feet, and you would have some serious difficulty breathing and staying warm.

The second 10 sided di houses a heliodor gem, and is etched with the Rosharan Glyphs from Jez to Ishi. When rolled the di grants you the surges from gravitation to adhesion, depending on the facing glyph of the di.

The third di is 4 sided, and houses an emerald. On each face is etched symbols that correspond your senses. One face shows an eye, another shows a nose, another shows a tongue and the final side shows an ear. When this di is rolled you lose the use of the sense of the showing side.

The fourth and final di is 6 sided, and houses a garnet, and each face is etched with silhouettes of macro fauna from Roshar. One face shows a Human, another shows a Chull, another shows a Larkin, another shows a Dysian Aimian, another shows a Chasm Fiend and the final face shows an Axehound. When rolled, this di cause you to transform into whatever type of animal is depicted on the showing face of the di, but you retain your same consciousness and same mental faculties that you had prior to the transformation.

The size changing, sense depriving, and transformation dice alterations persist for 2 bells time, but the granted surge persists for the full duration of a Rosharan day. Each di can only be rolled once per day.

If any of the dice are unrolled during the hateful hour, they roll of their own accord.

I wish for a red stepped flower pot looking Devo hat.

I wish for the sword fighting abilities of Indigo Montia.

Granted, unfortunately you also inherit his quest as well. Though your quest doesn't have as tragic an origin, it's still as all consuming.

You spend the majority of your life looking for the 6 fingered man who sadistically ripped the head off of your teddy bear, Mr. Fluffles. When you finally find him, you say, "Hehhlloe, I am Shard of Reading, Yhou killed my Teddy, prepahre to die". You don't really kill him though, you just use your frightful sword prowess to cut his belt so that his pants fall down and he trips and falls into a mud puddle. Your vengeance complete, you are free to use your sword fighting skills to start a Tappenyaki style restaraunt where you butterfly shrimp, chop chicken, dice steak, and generally wow your customers with your world class rapier skills.

I wish that I had a Star Trek style food replicator.

The Nightwatcher chuckles. “You aren’t the first one to try that,” she says. “I can’t help you there. Now take this boon and bane and get out of here.” She hands you a pair of attachable wings, which allow you to fly, but you suddenly realize that your feet are sinking into the ground, and will continue to do so whenever you land.

I wish for an opportunity to go cliff jumping (into water).

The cliff is .02 cm high and the water is filled with piranhas. It is no longer an opportunity, you have to do It or you will get another bane.

I wish to hold a shard of adanalsium (Not sure if I spelled that right)

granted. The vessel before you put all of their power into useless stuff, so you can't do anything.

I wish to be travel anywhere at will.

Granted. You have a dementor who follow you wherever you travel, but takes 1/1000 of a nanosecond longer to follow you when you teleport, forcing you to travel forever without remaining anywhere you wish to be. If the dementor catches up with you, you and your closest friend become mindless dementors.

I wish to be able to instantaneously create a taco whenever I desire, which said taco will be of the perfect size, temperature, and ingredients for me to eat, and which will cause me no physical, cognitive, emotional, or spiritual damage to eat. Said taco will be created in the location I will, without any relative velocity or acceleration to me, and I will be able to eat said taco without adverse effect coming on me due to its influence.

Wow. You pretty much eliminated all bad things with eating it. You forgot creation, though. Whenever you create the taco, a part of you about the size of a finger will become blade-dead.

I wish for a portal maker that can be used as much as I want, with no adverse side effects of any kind with the creation of use of the portal maker and no adverse side effects of any kind with the creation or use of the portals themselves, for me to open or close the portals at will, wherever and whenever I want, and basically for the bane to be completely unrelated.

Granted. You have no memory of a location besides the one you are in, and cannot create new memories of another location. You also have very little imagination. Because of this, you will have no reference frame from which to open a new portal. Note this has nothing to do with your use of portals or their creation - it's a bit like granting someone without a tongue the capacity to create whatever food they want.

I wish for the letters e, s, o, and r to be absent from the grammatically correct and correctly spelled bane I anticipate receiving.

Granted. It causes horrible paradoxes, though. You can't be sure you'll end up in the same timeline.

I wish for spectacular fireworks tomorrow night.

Granted. They get launched inside your house.

Granted! You get a puppy and a life threatening allergy to dogs. Don't worry, you can take a daily shot for your allergy and your puppy is adorable, but he eats all of your shoes.

I wish that I had some firecrackers for the 4th of July.
