The only way that he overcame it was because he was extremely a pacifist. Like scary pacifist, no harming anything. "Well that's never good..." Ezrium muttered to himself, knowing that all of the other would try to kill each other, including him. He used some more Stormlit to disguise himself, but nothing happened. Daddy… He sees his father, his head hanging low as he is surrounded by peacekeepers. His hands cuffed and bound, he can see the fatigue and hopelessness in the way his face has almost aged like an old man loosing his hope in the world. Like a man who has lost his color. He screams. “DADDY!” His voice filled with horrible terror. He struggles between fleeing and running straight for him with the hope he will be wrapped up in his arms once more.

He stepped forward. He would not fail Cassian like he failed Sage. Sage gave his life for Ezrium. Ezrium would not waste this opportunity. "I know that I for one, will not stand for this any longer. Now who is with me?" Ezrium looked at everyone. His fellow contestants. Red the Shardchicken. The spirit of Ryn. The Midnight Essence if it was there. Back at Cassian. And finally at Elan. "If none of you cowards want to do what is right, then so be it. Just know that I will die with honor, which is more than those gamemakers have. Think about it. Will you ever be the same, looking at your family, knowing you let a innocent defenseless child die. I will not. I would rather die than let the innocent be killed. I shall not let the defenseless perish." Ezrium spoke his fourth ideal and gained shard armour. "LET MY BOY GO- PLEASE-" He screams, but he is helpless to Eddie's hand.
