Today’s Items

Hael’s Severed Head
Ability: Bid Up
Description: A decapitated head in a sack.
History: Hael’s head was an object of desire for a year or so, early on in SE. This includes, but is not limited to Lopen getting his head as the last eliminator in LG18 and Maill killing him C1 in LG19 for the same reason. Alv was planning to build a kind of SE frankenstein out of various body parts, and Hael’s head was one of them.

Araris’ lerasium bead
Ability: Roleblock
Description: A small bead of metal containing the solid essence of Preservation
History:  In LG19, a troll GM early on made a rule call that if a player got three beads of lerasium (a very rare item to get), they could ascend to Preservation. And then Araris did, and consumed all three beads to Ascend to Preservation. He then killed every remaining player in a storm of metal covering the whole village while spiking himself to win with the elims.

Wilson’s Shardplate
Ability: Roleblock
Description: Shining blue Shardplate
History: In LG20, Wilson was the last eliminator standing, and knew the game was broken against her, but she had a set of Shardplate to protect her. She still lost, but she used the Shardblade to give the village a good fight first.

Lifeless Rabbits
Ability: Roleblock
Description: These reanimated rabbit corpses come equipped with mallets to bop people on the head.
History: In LG 25, the elims used their ability to steal breath from the elim kill victim to acquire the most Breath-costly items in the game, the rabbits, allowing them to kill several additional villagers.

Real talk guys: gonna brb for a decent chunk of the cycle as I'm feeling unwell. Will medicate if necessary and/or step out, but I need a moment to breathe and potentially medicate. Happy to bluetext this if required.

No need, take care of yourself :) Wish you the best

Seeing the 'Ash (8):' with no one voting him is more hilarious to me than it probably should be xD

For some reason I expected to have an extra vote but I guess it doesn't get added unless you get the item. Which makes sense :P.

@Ashbringer, did you say what you went for? I think with Exp's claim we can safely say you didn't submit the kill (which doesn't make you village but it's not nothing)

Len is still fine but I'm open to options. Would like to know if there is anyone with an 8 vote self-imposed bounty atm :P.

Going back to Elenion. Should’ve stayed there. Gonna disappear for a bit. RL stuff.

Hope you feel better Kas. If you need sleep use sleep.

Okay wow. I'm guessing Ash got hit with a bid up or two? Gonna lean village there. With 3 elims, maybe 1 on each train? Voting Striker for now.

Nope! Also impossible.

Araris (not for this post specifically, but a 2-bid is interesting)

What did you expect? :P

I had the UberTin, and was roleblocked by Exp so it’s gone (at least for the game). But I didn’t kill anyone, so that’s nice.

Hmm, Kas bidding 4 and then not having votes seems suspicious. And I guess I'm reconsidering on Ash as well.

This is where my true risk tolerance shines through :P

I expected no one to bid anything above three or four :P. Y'all are crazier than expected.

Doesn't that just mean he got whatever item he bidded for? :P.

You do whatever you need to, I'll tell my fellow elims to give you a pass

Well, it looks like Ash didn't put in the elim kill last cycle, but I am bummed that Experience voted so much on Cuddles. It basically ensured Experience's death by lynch, which in effect gave the elims a free turn to kill someone. I don't think that that was a very smart thing to do, tactically speaking, but what's done is done

Let's extend that logic. I doubt the elims would vote more than 4 for a single item, given that it's practically suicide unless someone else does the same, and suicide from the elims is a definite no-go. Given that logic, then both Ash and Kas read village to me. I already had a village read on Ash, so that's nothing new, but Kas is. Too bad Kas is taking a step back from the game.

That leaves Mat, Araris, Xino, Striker, and Flamingo. I would be willing to bet that at least 2 of that group are elims. Of those, Araris and Striker already have votes, so I think I'm going to double down on Striker.

This may be our last chance to win the game: if there are 3 elims out there there will be only 3 villagers left if we mislynch, so I would really like to hear more discussion from the players still remaining.

Anyone have any huge self-imposed vote tallies to claim?

True.

Hmm. 2 vote/bid manip, 1 PM, 1 Protect somewhere.

What are either of these points in reference to?

Araris got 2-2 which is interesting, but I think that's a coincidence. Elenion my gut makes me think you are using all this talk to distract us.

We should be more careful, and there’s 2 possible vote manip items between Kas, Araris, and Striker. Kas claimed going for one of the vote manips so idk.

Three Elenion votes in a row! Doesn’t make me nervous at all.

Alright, had a cup of green tea and I have a heat pack, so hopefully this should go away. Here's my C1 analysis revisited, briefly:

We now know Stick/Exp were V/V:

Quote

Experience (4): Flamingo, Mat, Stick, Striker
Stick (4): Araris, Experience, Kas, Thaidakar
Flamingo (1): Xino
Mat (1): Elenion

We also know Thaid was V. To me, this reads that one place to potentially look for Elims is on the side-trains, because once again, low investment. Thaid's vote switch was clearly pure dgaf. In the same vein, while I still don't understand how Striker thought he was breaking a tie, I do read him as lightly V for that move - an Elim has no reason to make a last minute switch since he should be indifferent between both trains.

This means that in terms of vote patterns, Xino and Len both stick out to me. Len has more than enough votes on him, so I'm going to put a bit of pressure on Xino.

Further thoughts:

  • I still like Len's C1 proposal. I honestly think CC commitments are bad for the Village so it feels to me like it comes from a bit more of a Village mindset. So I guess that's another point against me being down with adding yet another vote to Len.

  • I do have slightly reduced E!Araris credences. I don't see him being down for a C1 Aman kill. I grant this could change if his teammates strongly outvote him ( >:( ) but all the same.

  • Thaid kill is interesting to me - it's a deviation. They kill Aman and then they kill Thaid. Low info, or Elims have strong feelings about inactivity?

  • 8 votes on Ash? Really? Leaning V on Ash for this. Who the hell would...Ash, you absolute madlad.

I'll go over the C2 voting results briefly, but I don't know if I will have time in my current state to finish it and also engage with this hour's thread. Will do my best.

I think I misunderstood the rules. Don’t we still get extra votes if we get the item? XD

Spoiler

The lifeless rabbits lay, moving. The living raven flew, crooning. The lifeless rabbits one by one did see the raven up above, carried by a summer storm. Thunder Strikes, and lightning roars, and lifeless rabbits live once more, to gnaw on bones and use Commands and do whatever one demands. But be cautious: for they are known to get… out of hand.

@xinoehp512! How’s that for a story? More of a poem but there’s some narrative there.
