Ji remained silent, watching the conversation between the two. If he said anything to John, it would only label himself as a hypocrite. Instead, he looked down at his soup, taking bite after bite.

John did as he was told, placing the untouched bowl of soup in his lap.

"Maybe I should get a flamethrower, or hydrochloric acid. Or something." John said. He wasn't sure where he could get either of those, but he needed something. What if the next group had transporter mystics, or mystics that could turn invisible? How could he defend against that? He was not going to lose another one, not after Saaphir. He had to be ready.

"No, but I am sorry I had to kill them. That's why I do my best to learn their names, remembering them is the least I could do."

Elya nodded. That much she could understand.

"If you want to prepare something, then prepare yourself. Conserve your energy so you can maintain your mind and strength. Bombs and bullets don't do anything if there isn't anybody to use them."

John sat in silence trying to find a counter argument something to prove him right, nothing he could think of worked.

"I guess you're right. Goodness knows I haven't slept on a bed in almost a year."

Could Grace meet up with my character during or after her own thing @xinoehp512? If not that’s ok.

Sure!

Grace watched the lights in the building from outside. She could hear happy voices.

She turned away, fading into the Enchanted Realm. Fading away. Through the shadows of the shadows she strode, walking aimlessly throughout the city, searching. For what? She didn't know.

She didn't hear the screams of people about to die. She didn't fall. She felt like falling.

Lines blurred together. Then- all of a sudden- something caught her eye.

What is the name of the person in charge of the Pacis? I have an idea for my entrance, when I meet@xinoehp512’s character Grace.

Also is there a place where everyone’s character cards are all in the same place?

To answer your first question: The leader of the Pacis is called Aquila. And no, you ain’t allowed to control him.. not that I thought you would lol.

Second: I’m not exactly sure what you mean?? Clarify before I decide to come up with the wrong assumption.

Somewhere below the city… was that…?

A faint pinprick of Light. The colors weren’t entirely visible, so it was hard to determine the source or what it was of.

@Mystic Syn,

I wanted to have a Pacis yell stop in the name of Aquila!

What I mean by character card, is the character descriptions. Is there a google doc or something where they are all located, so I can learn each of them and their personalities?

I don’t have a Google Doc, per se. But in the first post, I edit in the new characters and what the authors wrote down for them. Here be the linky. It’ll be listed underneath Character/Templates.

After eating a bowl of soup, Lyanör slipped into the bathroom to change before John had the chance to decimate it any further. A shower would have to wait; John's supplies were a little in the way. Her hair was a disheveled mess, so she forced it into a bunched-up braid.

Stepping out of the bathroom, she asked, "Anyone need anything else? I'm all taken care of."

Grace stopped. Light, so far below? What could that mean?

She knelt down on the ground, trying to get a better look at the far-off sparkle.

Viator ran through the narrow alleyways, heart pounding, and lungs burning, Pacis right behind him.

“Stop in the name of Aquila!” The lead Pacis yelled.

“I didn’t even do anything wrong!” Viator yelled, dodging around a street vendor. “I payed for the fuel!”

Either the Pacis didn’t hear, or more likely, they didn’t care. “Stop that Mystic!” The Pacis shouted. Another Pacis up the street heard and turned to face down Viator.

“Tere above!” Viator swore, “Just leave me alone!” His eyes started to burn with a purple crackling glow, and with a growl he ripped four holes into reality.

A portal ringed with a dark purple and black storm ripped into existence in front of him and behind him.

The Pacis collided, and their armor made a satisfying clangor.

“Ha!” Viator exclaimed, and fell through a portal on the street below.

He briefly passed through the shimmering enchanted realm… and promptly got the wind knocked out of him from the street below.

Upon closer inspection, the Light swirled between colors, ranging from all of the Lights. It was faint––distant, even––but that much she could tell.

Grace stared at it for a long moment. It was... beautiful. She felt drawn to it. Was the ground beneath her hands and knees softening?

She shook her head, standing up. Whatever it was, it was most likely accessible from somewhere above. She glanced at the building directly above the light, trying to identify its purpose.

I’m just going to assume Alissya followed the group to the apartment and fell asleep in one of the bunk beds… (Sorry for not replying sooner :p)
