DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Quote I mean.......if you want, you could text me about what's going on and post for me, but I don't want to ask you to do that if you can't @Channelknight Fadran
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Quote Welp… I guess we can wait for Ne’ik to show up as long as we need. I say we timeskip and get this show on the road, ‘cause we need to fight some more horrendously overpowered mystics
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Quote Oh, so now nothing is happening? Lyanör approached Elya. "Is Ji alright?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 "No." Elya shook her head. "He's not."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 "Is...there anything we can do?"
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Lyanör nodded. "What about you? Are you alright?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 "Not particularly," She admitted, glancing down at her bloodsoaked-bandage-wrapped arms. "But I've coped through worse."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 "...would you like a hug?" Lyanör asked hesitantly.
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Elya frowned. She was in pain, yes, but not exactly emotionally. Her mental state was manageable. But, then, again, a small gesture of kindness did sound nice. "If you don't mind, I suppose."
DramaQueen she/he/neopronouns Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Lyanör pulled Elya into a careful hug, keeping in mind that she was wounded.
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 She smiled a little, embracing Lyanor back.
#1 Taln Fan he/him Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Quote Yeah, so I've been a bit distracted lately, and haven't had much time for RPing, especially at the relative speed this one goes at. I've been focusing a fair bit on writing a book, and doin stuff on Coppermind. So I think imma leave this RP here pretty soon, I'll just die in whatever our next conflict is. Sorry to leave, it's been fun! I'll come up with a suitably stupid way for Saaphir to die in the fight.
Mystic Syn she/her Posted March 11, 2022 Author Posted March 11, 2022 Quote Mmmmm, k. I'll said I would finish up the dream sequence, so I guess I'm doing that now. Ji held Higeki's limp form tighter and closer. "You're okay," he whispered. "You're going to be okay. Just stay with me. Stay with me. I can save you." "But you can't." His head shot up, his expression contorting to anger as he saw the Angel of Death peering down at him, clothed in darkness. She tilted her head at him holding his sister's broken figure, her sapphire eyes piercing through the darkness. "You," he snarled, thrusting his hand out, a blade materializing and following his hand's motions towards the Angel. The Angel clasped her hands behind her back and sidestepped the blade, dodging another one by leaning back. As more blades came, the faster she became. Her expression revealed nothing as she evaded Ji's attacks, even kicking away some of the blades he sent at her. Ji continued to send his blades at her, not caring about technique or anything like that. More blades appeared, zipping towards the Angel. "So dependent on your blades," the Angel said, looking at each one of them. "Do you really think that they can help you? Especially since you couldn't save them?" "Shutupshutupshutup!!" he screamed, his veins glowing brighter. The blades became more solid, though still appearing with a ghostly blue glow. They all ranged in different shapes and sizes; all had their own unique quality about it, though some blades looked similar to each other. They all aimed to kill. The Angel let a small smirk show as she saw more blades. She stepped back from the blades as Pacis soldiers came in to replace her. White-hot anger burned through him as Ji cut down Pacis left and right. The fire within him roared with delight as he saw their blood split, but it wasn't satisfied. It only wanted to see one person truly bleed and hurt for the deeds they've done. The faceless Pacis kept coming, each of them falling prey to his blades. Any attacks they made against him, he easily avoided. Adrenaline coursed through his veins as well as his Mystical power, keeping him moving. One left. Stepping carefully though the bodies, he rammed a blade into the last Pacis, feeling the fire burn with pleasure. Ji growled with delight, till the Pacis' face cleared up. It was slow, at first, but with his eyes widening in horror, he saw... "Elya..?" he said softly, catching her corpse in his arms, all of his blades dissolving. Red bled through the white uniform, soaking through to his hands. She felt broken in his arms, which didn't seem right at all, but also very believable at the same time. But sure enough: It was her. Every detail was spot on. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, besides the Pacis uniform on her. Ji held her carefully, then looked up at the bodies, recognizing each of the people he slew. His parents, sisters, old friends, new friends. They all laid on the floor in front of him, reminding him of how short he falls. Their blood was on his hands. His problem. His responsibility. "No," he insisted, turning back to Elya's body. He held her close, almost reminiscent to what he did with Higeki earlier as his voice fell to a whisper. "You're okay. You're going to be okay. You just have to stay with me. I can do this. I can help. Just please, stay with me, Elya." Unwanted tears blurred his vision, making it hard to see, but he still held her close. "I..." he whispered, trying to get the words out, but just... couldn't. The Angel materialized out of the darkness, staring down at him with those sapphire eyes. He looked up at her. "Don't say it," he whispered. She tilted her head at him. "You put in a lot of effort, but receive no reward," the Angel said, ignoring him. "What reward you do get is death, all of them caused by you and your incompetence. "You're useless, Ji Naito. Nothing." A blade shot out, but the Angel faded away into the darkness before it could connect. But, as Ji has come to figure out... she was right. The world fell apart around him, but he still held on to her, trying in vain to bring at least one person back from the mistakes he made. . . . Ji jolted awake in a cold sweat, his tank top damp. He sat up quickly, still feeling the rush of adrenaline, but it quickly died down. He breathed heavily, looking down at his own hands. They trembled as his mind didn't just flash back to his dream, but to the events that made him this way. His breathing accelerated, but Ji forced himself to calm down. His body might be still, but his mind still ran amok. Just a dream, just a dream, he thought, trying to convince himself as he slipped his hoodie back on. Nothing's wrong. You're overreacting. You need to be the leader. No one needs to know. 1
Going_North_cal Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Quote Hm it's time for some f u n stuff. Ceph fazed through the wall, into his own abode. He yawned, and started rummaging around, looking for anything that might help the group. Bandages, miscellaneous ammo, anything that could be useful. He pulled a duffel bag from a corner, and started stuffing it with the items. "Welcome back," A feminine voice said dryly. Ceph closed his eyes, and sighed. "Hey, Tessa." "What're you doing this time?" "Helping." Ceph examined a dagger, before putting it into the bag and continuing. "I won't have a repeat of last time. We've been through this." "Are you going to the city center?" Tessa asked gently. Ceph paused, and stopped putting stuff in the duffel. "I don't know," he said softly, "I haven't been there in years." "So, you haven't even confronted what happened?! You've shoved down your emotions, tried to forget that day, but for what? If you don't confront it soon, something is going to bring those feelings back, in full force, and you won't be ready for it." Ceph tried to speak, but couldn't form the words. He turned, and looked Tessa in the eyes. "And why should I listen to you?" He said angrily. "I'm just trying to-" Tessa started, but Ceph cut her off. "You're not even real!" Ceph shouted. The shout seemed to echo around the room, and silence followed it. "You're not... real. You're gone, and so is Gilbert. You're both... gone." "We've been gone for years, Ceph. It's just you and your imagination now. Just you. Go do something with it." Ceph put a few radios in the bag, and zipped it up. "You're never going to let me forget it, are you?" "Never," Tessa said, before fading from view. "Damn woman," Ceph grumbled, "How I miss her." Ceph put the duffel bag aside, and lied down. What Tessa said rang through his mind. Maybe remembering what happened, all those years ago, would help. ... Nah. Ceph closed his eyes for a short nap, and let his mind wander. Quote So maybe I like hinting at backstories and I was bored. There will be a dream sequence, but I'm in school right now, so it'll be later. Enjoy the angery fun times! 2
Channelknight Fadran Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Quote Well... we're gonna timeskip. We'll assume that they waited to leave until Ceph showed up, so just drop in once you've finished your stuffs. I'm just hankering for some action already. In other words... it's fight scene time. @Mystic Syn @#1 Taln Fan @Fallapede @Tani @DramaQueen @Frustration

Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Quote if you guys don't mind I kind of want to reboot Jeh'lar again. Ima going to restart how his storyline starts because the way I had it kind of sucked. "Jeh, are you gonna join me on the mission or what?" "Sure Riin. but what is this mission of yours anyways?" Jeh'lar sighed as he took a drink of his ale. Jeh'lar sat in an improvised chair made of several cushions and a wooden crate in the warehouse his gang called their home. Riin leaned against the door fiddling with a small dagger that he said had come from a king. two other members of the gang sat in the corner at a table playing cards and betting their money against each other, occasionally shouting at each other. Riin sighed, he thrust his dagger in his sheath and said, "well Jeh, a friend of mine recently joined a team across town who are trying to rob this place owned by the Pacis, they've been planning this for over three years. the place is filled with riches. I only recently got involved and it really is perfect. Except there's a catch. they need a mystic like you to finish the last stage of their plan." Jeh considered this as he rubbed his chin, "well, it depends. is it failsafe?" "yes." "what's in it for me?" "you heard what I said, there are tons of riches involved. it is going to be shared evenly. they even have specialists ready to hide us across Zvso so no-one can find us." "kay, I'm in." "great, we start tomorrow."
