  1. Mind that Shallan knocks off a goblet of spheres on the floor of her cabin when she wakes up and some of them could have easily rolled out of the door to Jasnah. So she could have gained access to stormlight and hopefully escaped death.
  2. I doubt this is the end of Jasnah. But it's soooooo cruel to post just an excerpt, the title on Tor mislead me to believe it'd be the whole chapter.
  3. Turn on your Kindle WiFi and it will automatically be downloaded it as soon as it's available.
  4. If Eshonai turns into stormform, this could be her PoV when she has trouble controlling her new self, may be accidentally going in the wrong direction where no storms exist at the moment and perhaps in her stormform she can only move with the winds..
  5. This topic has some of the funniest comments I've read recently!
  6. Does this mean that there are several ways of spelling the same word with glyphs and all of them are considered correct?
  7. Those who already have received their copy I imagine have cheatspren and here I am surrounded by envyspren
  8. I ship Jasadin, but lately I've been thinking Sigzil would be a better match for Jasnah. And she could teach him how to kill properly. It can't get more romantic than this
  9. Thank you! I have another question, probably as silly as the previous one Why does the Kholin glyph look like that, I thought it was made of Koh and Linil that looked like a tower and a shield?
  10. Can anyone explain this Tanat glyph for me? What does it mean and why is it there?
  11. He's not the only one. Lopen already asked Kaladin if he could fly, I think it's one of the widely known (but not believed) facts about the Radiants. Kaladin was arguing how pointless it sounds for KR to be able to fly and travel long distances in the blink of an eye, so what's not known is the fact that only two orders could travel, not all of them.
  12. Is Loupen a surgebinder now? Cool!
  13. No, I don't think so. I think Amaram will avoid confrontation as well as Kaladin. Amaram wants everyone to think he won the Shards and he wouldn't want to risk exposure or a conflict with Dalinar. Neither will Kaladin. Kal won't think his word against Amaram's (he has no reason to think Amaram will confess) will have more weight to Dalinar, so he won't risk his position and his men by revealing something he doesn't think Dalinar will believe. And Amaram is not such a monster to want to destroy what Kaladin has yet again. I think they might have some private confrontation or avoid each other completely at least at first.
  14. Even if Kaladin's face isn't enough for Amaram to recognize who that is, the hate in Kal's eyes will be unmistakable.
  15. It would make their relationship more spicy
  16. The 'old reptile' makes an appearance?
  17. But boon and curse are limited to the one asking as far as we've seen. Which chapter is this?
  18. Sooo, is Renarin is a Dustbringer or a Skybreaker? Or it could be just a reference to his Shardblade.
  19. I can see Renarin as a Skybreaker. I think the fractured sky is his doing.
  20. So, his epitaph would be something like 'Adolin was usually more graceful'?
  21. Uh, thanks for all the Mistborn spoilers...
  22. I think it's Dalinar trying to make another medical metaphor.
  23. I really like your theory! We can easily include Cultivation on such Oathpact - she given one curse and one boon to prevent Odium from doing anything. One Herald left means Odium can only send one champion. And theologically your theory has some bases: But if this is entirely true, then the surgebinders (not being of Honor) wouldn't lead to Odium having more power. Though the Almighty said spren imitated what he did with the Heralds, so who knows, it might count. In Child of Tanavast the Stormfather said: Which makes me think that the Oathpact was a Shard (because of 'shattered'), though I can't back it up with much. Only that we know 'three of the sixteen ruled' and since Odium came much latter, it's possible that there was one more Shard other than Honor and Cultivation. I'm going to stop here and not argue about this, perhaps there are WoB proving it wrong, but the quote is still relevant to the topic. Notice the present time here? It could be a recent event. Thus Odium is no longer bound by the same rules that applied in previous Desolations. Perhaps that's why spren decide to bond with mankind again, but Darkness is unaware of what happened. edit: spelling
