  1. Well, can't really come up with any better reasoning to lynch someone than what Grellin has going against him. I was the 5th vote for Faialen as well. Hopefully that's not a bad sign and we get better results this time.
  2. Only if he hadn't designated an Heir right? If someone is lynched and has an heir all the items go to them. Regardless, like I said, that isn't high on my list of likely scenarios. Well, that was what I actually suspected but I really didn't have much else to base accusations on. It doesn't absolutely exonerate you but I'm not going to punish you for protecting yourself so I will retract my vote for Jim Bob Dirt for now.
  3. To be honest... I don't have extremely strong reason for going Jim. But so far this game my suspicions haven't really panned out so there isn't that much strong for me to go on for anyone. Even Tion, Ace, and Jost who have the most information in the game are having difficulties piecing a solid suspect down so I wouldn't expect anyone will be able to give you a reason for their vote other than vague theories. I explained my reasoning for why I think people with a certain play style this game might be who we should be looking at. Of that group, I have reason to suspect Jim mostly because a vote for him was nullified yesterday, either with the pain knife or with a reverser. That cold have just been to make sure Aonar got lynched, it could have been Jim actually protecting himself, or it could have been the GB protecting one of their own. Yes, I know, its flimsy but any vote will be based on what info I have but its the best I can do and as it has been said, we desperately need discussion and a plan today. If Ace's group (I'll call it your group to make you happy Macen) can come up with a logical reason why someone else would be a better target, then I'll definitely reassess. Edit: forgot to add the quote I was responding to
  4. I see three explanations for how we've gotten to the point we are now: 1. The ghostbloods have been working right up front from the start to orchestrate things which has ultimately resulted in them controlling all forms of secret conversation. suspects: Tion, Ace, Jost, Grellin, Wurum Likelihood: Low. If this is the case, I won't feel bad about losing because it was masterfully done. 2. The Ghostbloods have been trying to walk the edge of looking active in the game while not really taking the lead too often or drawing much attention Suspects: Jim Bob Dirt, Alv, Sprenil, Saritu Likelihood: Good. Effective way to play when pm communications are limited. 3. The Ghostbloods have mostly been sitting back and letting us cut each other's throats. Suspects: Lucal, Khas, Cara, Humperdinck Likelihood: Possible but would have required that the luck of the draw selected mostly new players and players that traditionally play passively. I know we could easily have a mixed bag (two really active players and two really passive players) but after thinking through everything that has happened, I'm leaning towards option 2 as the most likely. Meta, Macen, and Joe are all talented players but it would have just relied on too much luck to achieve what they did if they were GB. I also agree with a few of the arguments Wurum made so I am going to go ahead and vote for Jim Bob Dirt at this point.
  5. The RP games (called Sanderson Elimination on here) are roughly based on the Mafia style games that are common on many forums. A quick search should bring up several descriptions of those types of games. On here, the games are modified to follow along with certain worlds/books from the cosmere. Meta created a good general description of how the games go in THIS POST. Each game has it's own special rules and player roles which will be described when signups start. Game 5 of the full game is currently going on HERE if you wanted to read through and get an idea of how it works. Signups for the next Quick Fix game (shortened version) are currently going on HERE.
  6. This shall be my icon while I remain at such an auspicious reputation. The Atium butter is kind of hard to make out in the smaller size so that's what it is supposed to be if you couldn't tell. I contemplated making a new one for every reputation from now on... but that would be way too much work.
  7. Snooze button spren. It's their fault when I accidentally oversleep.
  8. Can you post a video of that dance sometime? That would make me feel better
  9. The orientation of that last one will look really good for the signature.
  10. I had intended to stand apart from the current explosion of factions (That includes the observers. Joining a faction who's purpose is to laugh at other factions is still joining a faction ). However, it would appear that with just a few more reputation I shall be joining your ranks whether I chose to or not. So here is to being a member of the wafflesworn! (at least for a little while)
  11. It would probably work better horizontal for the signature rather than trying to shrink it. Edit: Ninja'd by Maili, but there is the sideways version for you Edit 2: shrunk it to fit within the dimensions Rubix specified.
  12. When you say it like that it all just seems so easy Edit: Darn, sarcasm doesn't have the same impact when you have to turn to the next page.
  13. There is a good deal of speculation that humanity was not originally from Roshar. Try out This Thread. A post I made on there (I think the second one) also links to two more earlier threads that discuss the topic. It is theorized that if humanity migrated to Roshar from another world, they likely brought some non native domesticated animals with them such as horses and chickens which are present on Roshar but do not fit with the rest of the flora and fauna.
  14. It will likely start to make more sense with each book you read. I didn't discover the cosmere until I started noticing a few minor similarities in the books which caused me to see if there was some connection. Low and behold, mind blown.
  15. I never thought swim would reach a reputation level that matched his Icon. I stand corrected. Chaos, did you add that level just for him?
  16. Glad to have you Avela and welcome from a new friend who will hopefully one day be an old friend Enjoy the rest of Mistborn! It's a great series and Brandon's writing only gets better from then on. Have you discovered the Cosmere yet?
  17. Swimmingly is a Gerontarch at 1550. Time to consult the coppermind.
  18. Yes I imagine it went to whoever was Fnorf's heir.
  19. Wait... why are we even debating about this? The write up clearly states that the person who killed Fnorf took the blade.
  20. From an RP standpoint, yes... but did Maili lay out an actual order for which happens first, the GB kill, bow, or blade? For instance, if the GB and Fnorf had both attacked and killed each other, would the items trade to each person and then go to each heir, disappear, or would one of them have both items and then both go to that person's heir?
  21. Good question. I think It would depend on if the kills technically happen simultaneously or if they happen in the order the write up suggests.
  22. (If someone already brought this up please ignore me) I was reading back through the thread to see if I could make some sense of what's happened so far in this game and was reminded that Tors oringinally signed up as an artifabrian. Did you do that on purpose Maili or was it just a crazy coincidence that he actually ended up with that role?
  23. Glad to have you and look forward to reading your questions and insights. What Sanderson works have you read so far?
  24. Is anyone else having troubles figuring out what happened with those votes? A quick comparison of what i had in my notes and what the write up shows. The Write Up Faialen (5): Jost, Awes, Alv, Ace, Grellin Tion (1): Sprenil Cara (1): Wurum Alv (1): Humperdink Jim Bob Dirt (3): Fnorf, Tion, Cara, Saritu What I Had Faialen (5): Jost, Awes, Tion, Ace, Grellin Tion (2): Alv, Sprenil Cara (1): Wurum Alv (1): Humperdink Grellin (1): Faialen Jim Bob Dirt (3): Fnorf, Cara, Saritu If I missed a few vote changes during the day, let me know but if I'm correct it looks like Tion's vote was switched from Faialen to Jim Bob Dirt but the number of counted votes for Jim Bob stayed the same. Alv's vote was changed to Faialen. Faialen's vote for Grellin was completely nullified. That would seem like at least two reversers and a pain knife were used but still not sure why Jim Bob Dirt's tally only shows 3. Anyone have a scenario for this?
  25. Quiver that's got to be one if the biggest changes in icon themes I've seen yet
