  1. Sorry for not talking more this cycle! Real life happened. I'll probably be more active in the future, but I can't promise anything. I do have an orchestra concer Sunday and a play happening in less then a week (eek), so I am quite busy. That seems like a very dumb thing for an eliminator team to do. As you say, it's a total waste of a kill. Why would they do that? Seriously, why. Hello? Read my storming playstyle.Sorry! I know, I need to vote. I'll try to get around to doing that next cycle. (I don't have time to analyze this cycle.) And this seems exactly like normal Alvron, I think. I haven't played much with him, but I don't think there's anything unusual there. As I said above, that seems like an enormous waste of a Stoneman. They could kill double the amount (or almost, depending on Acolytes), but they instead choose to double-tap everyone? Can someone explain why that's a good idea? Again, sorry. At that point, I was being constantly interrupted and in no state to be writing a post. I know I need to be more active. Sorry! Wait, why did two Acolytes have to target you? You were Fatally Wounded, and one healed you. Right? Also, it's very possible to have three Acolytes, I think, given there was a Stoneman on the Eliminator team and also looking at the number of players killed or wounded every cycle. That seems balanced, maybe? But I don't know too much about balance, so correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. Wow. When I said a lynch would be more beneficial, I kind of forgot about the fact that we'd have other kills too. Oh well. Hmmm. Should Acolytes heal Sart, or should he die as punishment for inactivity? Obviously it's up to the individual Acolytes, but I was thinking about it and I can't decide. By the way, Maill, I was thinking about putting up a similar list before StrawMan put his up as well. I don't think that particular thing is that suspicious.
  3. You know, it'd be a shame to deprive Mark of his first Loyal game (if he's loyal, which I hope) on the first cycle... Oh well. I think lynching someone is a little bit more important, and I don't want to inconvenience Ada in the last three minutes of the cycle. Vote tally: ThatTinyStrawMan (1): Kipper Kipper (3): Mark IV, Stink, Kynedath Mark (4): Jerle, ThatTinyStrawMan, Maill, PK EDIT: Actually, I hope Mark's not loyal. That'd be nice. Also hilarious.
  4. I don't really understand why Rangers should follow the second-most-voted player? I mean, that makes it so we effectively only have one Ranger, since they're all doing the same thing. Oh, okay. Sorry. Um, do we want to set up some kind of PM system so that everyone is connected somewhat? I don't know.
  5. I've finally decided on a playstyle. I'm going to be the newbie again, because why not? See here (starting from the second paragraph) for an explanation of what I'm doing. My basic traits: A lot of asking questions and clarification. A good deal of logic. I'll be very reluctant to vote on anyone. I'll talk in PMs if I get them. People I'm PMing will likely be entirely people I consider "experienced and better than SE than me", or people I want to say something specific to. RP is unlikely to happen. Basically, a ton of questions. That's about all for this one! I think my character will be named Elbereth Gilthoniel, if that's all right for the setting. Sorry for taking so long to post it.
  6. I'll sign up as Varda Elentari, a mediocre student who's been around for a while. I'm tempted to make my character this time the newbie one who only asks questions, since I'm sure a lot of that will be happening, but after thinking about it I'll be the same character as in MR10 (which also happens to have been Wilson's game). She is experienced and practical, but also fairly generous and disinclined to vote. I'm sure RP will happen, and I'm going to set a limit for myself of once every cycle. If I do not do that, go ahead and vote for me, just as motivation if nothing else. This character (developed a bit since last time) is also someone for making plenty of plans, but not for logic. She is an instinctual person, who can say if something's wrong, but not exactly why. (This is something of a difficult thing for me, because I really like pointing out assumptions and logical flaws. I'm going to try not to do that.) She's also a very private person, so do not expect any roleclaims unless absolutely necessary. For clarification if we get anyone new this game or who hasn't played with me before: The above section is describing my playstyle this game and how I act in thread, not my RP character, who could be completely different. (My RP character will probably in fact be fairly similar because this character wouldn't tend to be very original or different in RP from real life, but that's not the point.) If I act out of character for any reason, go ahead and vote for me. I do not mind in the slightest, and in fact would welcome consequences for going out of character. Thanks, and I hope this is a great game!
  7. I'd like to sign up for a QF, likely pre-Ascension Scadrial featuring Alendi's Companions.
  8. Hi! I'm back and basically well again. I have been for a while, actually, but I haven't had access to my tablet for a while because there was no charger available and I'd run it down to 0% (oops). So it was a good thing I said I'd be sick longer than I actually was, because I was still gone. I'm reading through the thread slowly (and I wasn't caught up even before I got sick, so there's a lot to go through), but I also have a lot of homework to catch up on, so I don't know if I'll be able to make a relevant post before turnover. I will certainly try! I'm glad to be back.
  9. Unfortunately, I have come down sick. Unlike travelling (where I will attempt to be on as much as possible, so there isn't too much change in activity), this means I cut everything except the absolutely necessary from my life. This includes SE, sadly. I wanted to finish up MR11, but now that it's done don't expect to see anything of me until at least Saturday. Sorry!
  10. I just wanted to say, before I read the evil doc, good job to my fellow eliminators. I suspected both Kynedath and Adavantos due to a couuple of small things that happened in the doc, but I never saw Clanky being evil at all. I thought Lopen was more likely. Great job, guys! That probably doesn't make sense to anyone who isn't an eliminator. Scroll down to the very bottom of the evil doc to figure out what I'm talking about.
  11. Okay. I was gone for a while, so I'm sure that didn't help any.I can agree with that. I'm not necessarily convinced that that means he's evil, though. PK had some similar illogic this game, and he turned out to be confirmed good. I understand your logic, but it doesn't convince me of his guilt. Fair True enough. Edited for removal of a certain phrase.
  12. I mean. When have I ever been a force in the lynch? (The end of LG16 does not count.)The problem for me is that I don't suspect either you or Clanky, so I'm trying to compromise here. I don't get the feeling it's working out, oddly enough.
  13. Something I forgot to mention earlier. Lopen, how did I go from highest on your trust list (after you and the two confirmed), to a probable trader? What's with that? I was starting to wonder if that would happen at some point, though, because in both games we survived near the end, you started suspecting me, even though we were both innocent. I had hoped that this game would break the cycle, but apparently not. Also, I still think SD is the best candidate for a lynch right now. Because I’m willing to vote for him (I agree that that last post was not very helpful at all), and that way you can both test your assumptions on someone you both agree is evil. That makes the most sense. EDIT: word choice.
  14. Oh, sorry, I forgot that PK had also voted on Lopen. That makes more sense, then. I do trust Lopen to an extent, though, so I'll leave my vote there for the moment. I should be on all day, though, so I can certainly change it if someone else seems more suspicious.
  15. Well, I suppose it doesn’t matter if I reveal now, given that someone storming stole (alliteration!) my Aviar. I had Power Sensing and Observant. C1: Observant- Phatt- not targeted (I mixed up what Power Sensing and Observant do- I meant to target the other way around) Power Sensing- Maill- has a Mind Shield Aviar C2: Observant- PK- targeted by PK Power Sensing- Lopen- has a Messenger Aviar C3: Observant- Lopen- targeted by Kynedath and Elkanah (note that this is the cycle that they began exchanging code, so this isn’t just Kynedath Messaging him) Power Sensing- Ripple- No Aviar C4: Observant- PK- did not succeed Power Sensing- HS- did not succeed C5: Completely forgot to send in orders. Well. I remembered, while lying in bed trying to get to sleep, but at that point I didn’t care enough to send in an order and probably disturb my sick (and cranky) sister in the process. Then my Aviar were stolen. A few notes. I’m somewhat curious what you targeting Lopen was, Kynedath, the cycle after you messaged him. Obviously, I was blocked C4, and then apparently [x] was Hidden or Mind Forced last cycle. Lopen, Hellscythe, were either of you Hidden/Mind Forced, or did I just get roleblocked? Also, I’m a little irritated at the fact that I’m being accused of being an eliminator not really because anyone has any evidence against me, but just because I fit best as a fourth trader. Okay, time for a vote. Everyone keeps saying that we need a united lynch this cycle, but for all that Clanky and Lopen are dividing the group (obviously more of that being Clanky, because he was second). You do both have SilverDragon on your lists, though. Why not lynch him, then? If you’re so set on unity? I’d be agreeable to that.
  16. YES! :D :D You know, Mark, I came this close to switching my vote to Twei. I might even have been able to win at that point, if Twei protected right or you killed her rather than me. But probably not. You did duct tape me, though, which was smart. You did all of the right things exactly right. Congrats on that! And congrats to your whole team! It was close until the very last minute. Wow. Still happy about that. And also still laughing about the fact that Meta was right. I'll probably write a betrayal RP, just because.
