  1. Um. Meta is always aggressive, in my experience. I think it's a product of having short lives. He wants to get as much as possible accomplished before he dies. Oh, and Kipper, I didn't really mean you, no. You're only a little bit inactive. Secondly. I am a Banker. Since I'm on the Streets, I think I can go to whichever side of the River I'd like. (GMs, is that correct?) So I'd appreciate knowing which side the other Banker is on before I go. However, I'm currently putting in an order for the Pool, just in case I don't get on again. (Which is unlikely, but hey, that's what happened last cycle.) Also, people, theoretically it should be easy to get 9 points. I still only have 8. After 3 cycles. And that's an improvement from last night, when I had 3.5. Donate points, people! Please? Or I won't be able to scan tonight (though that's somewhat unlikely now, fortunately, as long as I get one point), which would be terrible.
  2. Not having to do much real participation in the thread? I was barely making tuition while doing a good deal of RP (which I'm not doing only because I'm currently not making tuition anyway), as well as discussion in thread and voting and such. So... You have to really participate, even without votes on you. That said. Both of us are currently amenable to votes right now anyway, so it doesn't matter that much. I personally still haven't gotten mine. I was going to go to Imre this past turn, but I forgot to send in the order, and before that I hadn't gone. I'll probably go soon, though, and I will inform the thread of my success or failure (so you know if it's fine to vote on me or if I'll get annoyed). I don't have high hopes for my chances, though. I just wanted to agree with this and add that Dowanx has even been expelled, just because no one noticed that there were only three (ish) votes floating around. I am not a Skindancer. Theoretically I don't have to say that anymore, but I will just because.
  3. I mean... Protection is always nice. But I made it into an IKYK deliberately, so that eliminators would be less likely to go after me. If I ask for that protection in thread, the eliminators will just go after someone else. So don't arrange protection in thread, and unless someone PMs you and asks for protection from your contact, they should just use their power on whoever they judge best.
  4. Well. This is the problem with travelling and 24-hour turnovers. I'm only on after turnover, but sometimes I think I might be on beforehand and wait to put in orders... and then I'm not. Gah. Unfortunately, I'm one of the more high profile players on the Streets (because everyone else who is there is actually inactive, as opposed to just having a terrible schedule). So unless they decide to go after Kipper or a building (which doesn't seem smart), I'm in danger. Hmph. (And yes, it's an IKYK now. That was intentional.) Edited because I didn't finish my sentence.
  5. So, there were a couple of votes on me last cycle for... not-very-good reasons, and that's kind of annoying me because now I have a three-turn roleblock. Fortunately, I don't think I actually have a tuition increase because my tuition is frozen at the moment. Which is nice. If this turns out not to be the case, I shall be most annoyed. The thing to remember is the win condition. It's possible for the Skindancers to outnumber us, and we still win. It's even very possible. Because they have to kill all of us, and it just gets harder to fly under the radar as the pool of people gets smaller. Nope. Nor did I use any actions to change the vote, so unless someone randomly decided to be nice (which I would appreciate, I guess), I just got fairly lucky that I wasn't expelled. ...I don't feel that lucky. Oh well.
  6. This exemplifies something that I saw in a lot of posts last cycle. Unfortunately, I didn't quite finish reading before the cycle ender (grr- though fortunately I was able to send in my lodging), so i'll have to make my comments now, annoyingly.First off, no, it won't really make Meta's plan any different. It might actually protect the Bankers a bit, because (unless there's a special condition that I missed), they have to target people in their building. So a bigger group is not a bad thing. Second, it would make Lopen's plan more difficult. I'll come back to that in a minute. But here's the thing. It's only for one cycle. If we'd done that plan, we would know the makeup of our gang, and then we could go to any place we wanted. Whenever. It would only be a temporary measure, guys. Not that much of a problem. Really. Why was there such backlash against this plan? I would say it was Government Agents, but as far as I can tell they should be fine with this plan. It tells them who's in each gang. So... what's up? EDIT: Also, anyone could literally have just picked a place for the Drunks to go for a cycle. But no one even mentioned it. What's with that? Also, unrelated comment. We can still follow both plans, Meta's (main) plan, and Lopen's plan, at the same time. I see no problem with that. Everyone sends their points to bankers, and we try to make kills based on who was in the room with the killer. Is there any problem with that, except for Bankers having a smaller pool of people to choose for scanning? Edited with more stuff about Meta's location plan.
  7. Barring the special case discussed above (which does not apply to me; I don't know about DC), there aren't any Masters yet. There has been enough time, you're correct, but no one's gotten there yet. ...Right. Missed that, sorry. That'll probably be a while for me, sadly. I didn't make tutition and may not make it next cycle either (depending on how much I post and if I do anything else). And after that I still have to get up to fifteen, which in my case will probably take a while.
  8. Probably best not. Your questions, in order:1. Because collaboration is better than competition! (Yay!) 2. So? Seriously. What does that matter, unless they all die? 3. That's a bit more of a problem. I'm guessing we leave one GA alive until we've secured all but two of the Epics (one from each other team), and then kill them all at the same time. That'll be tricky to coordinate. 4. I mean. Exactly as hard as it was before, I think. We could. That happened in MR10, and it worked out fine. But I vote for not doing that again. I want a faction game where factions are actually secret for once.
  9. Have you read the discussion so far? If we follow Meta's plan (which you haven't commented upon so I'm taking it as a default that you agree with it because it's a smart plan), giving all points to the banker is the best possible thing, because only they can scan government agents. We get rid of all the government agents as fast as we can, then the Epics, then we're done. Good? I'm going to bed now. Good night.
  10. At this point, no one knows any members (I think?). Definitely donate the points, we've agreed, but we haven't assigned locations yet. I need to go to bed, so if someone else could assign places so that they're fairly equal, I'd appreciate that. I'll be on briefly in the morning to place my location order.
  11. This is an issue with both plans. I can't do math right now, but can anyone tell me if it's feasible to just lynch/kill the other three people in any room where a kill is made? Because that might work, but my math instincts aren't functioning well enough right now to figure it out. If no one else does, I'll try to have a crack at it in the morning. I definitely like this plan. I don't see any holes in it (although I haven't read through the rules a second time yet). Hopefully it works? It depends on how many Epics there are. But if there is only one Epic left in each gang, the Bankers do have a kill. If they all use that on the same night, there shouldn't be a problem, correct? I also like this idea. It does prevent us from using Lopen's plan for the first cycle, but that's worth the added information. And that way we reduce the knowledge gap of the eliminators over us (because they know at least some of the composition of each group), though this will tell them the exact composition of every group after that point. I think it's worth it, though.EDIT: I don't think I ever declared a playstyle for this game. I don't think I'm going to, actually. I have enough to worry about with traveling and LG18. I'll just be normal. (Rejoice, Kipper. Or whatever.)
