  1. I got the order mixed up. I forgot that Byzantium was after Constantinople. Which was after the Roman Republic, obviously, because it was named after Constantine. Before it was Constantinople, it was Roma Nuova, I think. Which was definitely not a province. Darn.
  2. Definitely Gallia. Britannia. Aegypta. Hibernia, I'm guessing? Does Rome itself count (or Italy)? I don't remember what the North Africa was called after they conquered it. Did it stay Carthage, or become something else? Was Phoenicia (sp) a province or its own nation? I really want to say Byzantium, but I don't think that was conquered back then. Actually, technically Britannia wasn't conquered until it became the Roman Empire. I think. No, wait, that was Julius Caesar, so it was before. Caledonia? I don't think that's separate from Britain, though. I don't remember what the now-German area was called. It might have been Germania, but I feel like it was something else. Hm. Well, that's 9 at best, 6 or 7 more realistically. Anyone else want to round it off? EDIT: Wait, Greece! Graecia! And probably Macedonia as well. How could I have missed Greece?
  3. I think Elentari would be a fine name. I actually have a character for this game! (Surprise!) And I'm going to actually keep that character for the whole game! (Double Surprise!) So this is my PM-heavy character, who I also used in LG17. Unless I feel it is absolutely necessary, I will not post in the thread at all. I will create a PM with every player within the first couple of cycles. Up to you how much you know about my views. If I do, it will likely be only a vote. If you want explanation, PM me for it. And I'll be telling the players I voted upon why I voted on them, by default. Other than that, there shouldn't be much change in me. I'm not really certain enough of this character to set up speech patterns, unfortunately. I'm looking forward to this game! Will drugged players be revealed in the writeup?
  4. Ooh! That is actually a good reason to let her live! Good job, Dow. Assuming he's not a Skindancer. We'll see. You might not have a choice. And you'd be roleblocked anyway. Yeah, yeah, I know, your teammates might be able to sabotage you, but that way they waste a kill! I like this plan. :DAlso, if we roleblock Burnt and no one is sabotaged, we can maybe get an indicator of the Skindancers' activity level. (Wait. That would work just as well if we kill her. Never mind that.)
  5. I feel like changing my avatar to a cat now, but I've kind of always been an Aon Sao. Which is nice, because even if I change my avatar I'm still recognizably me. Unlike when other people change their avatar, which just annoys me to no end because I have a different picture of them in my head. For example, I never remember when I'm talking to Maill that he was who I helped GM QF11, because his avatar was different back then. Argh. Anyway. Actual important thing: I know of someone who can roleblock Burnt if we expel her. If anyone really wants to keep her alive. I don't suggest it, but if anyone can come up with a good reason, that's a thing.
  6. No. Sabotage counts. It's not technically murder, but it could definitely be described as murderous. However, if you prefer, I will refer to you instead as an evil insane Skindancer. (There aren't any adjectives meaning "insane-making", unfortunately. That I know of, at least.) Yay! Parodies are the best. We haven't done enough of them recently. I really want to do a Hamilton one at some point... I mean, being poor did keep votes off of you, which is nice. But presumably something else... I'm curious now. I like your member title, by the way. You should keep it forever.
  7. Definitely the better decision, to be honest. Though, I would have been conflicted about revealing you. It would be like pulling the trigger on the person who just handed you the gun. So maybe I would have worked with you? Only if you argued it really well, though. Probably best not. Special commendations to Meta (both for convincing me of your innocence the whole time and for the idea of the group win, which worked out rather differently than you would have hoped, I'm guessing) and Kynedath (for being completely unsuspicious the whole time). Also Aman and Lopen, for various plans and schemes that made the game much more interesting. Nicely done!
  8. If I'd thought of it... ... I have mixed feelings about this. Um. Yay? I approve.Overall, great game everyone. Meta, you had me completely fooled (though that's not a surprise), but thanks for the group win idea. I really liked how we got to do a lot of planning and orchestration this game, though I'm sad that it didn't play out to completion like I would have wished. Now to go read the evil doc. Immediately.
