Argent, I don't want to be too verbose. It's meant to be a cheatsheet of sorts, so 1-2 word descriptions, rather than full sentences. I don't remember off-hand all of the High Epics, so I'll add that column and populate it fully later (unless someone else remembers and tells me ) I added Digzone and Pink Pinkness!

Yeah, having datapoints at the far ends of the city would work, but that'd leave them ~3 miles in the center of the city. If that area is about 3 miles wide, that leaves them 9 square miles to search through, which is huge in a city. I think that either the range or the datapoint requests need to be fixed since as they stand, they don't make a lot of sense. Maybe her range should be 5km instead of 5m? Voidus, I took a screenshot of the map, and used Photoshop to add the circles.

It's about 13 miles long, so from either tip, they'd get a little info, but it'd basically be, "She's not at this end." You have to be in the vicinity of the blue circles in order to get any decent information.

I made a list! Of Epics! Their names, powers (if known), weaknesses, whether they had prime invincibility, whether they were able to Gift, and any possibly significant notes. I'm not completely done yet--Went through Steelheart, and partway through Firefight. I forgot to look through Mitosis, so I'll do that after Firefight. Work in progress, please point out mistakes! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o7757LlkTY0abA4zOqjy62rcJhTHFihIareANxa1YPo/edit?usp=sharing Edit: Please read these two points. They are VERY IMPORTANT. 1. Please make sure that you can receive emails at whatever email address you request access from. For example, I get a LOT of requests from a .k12 address. Those addresses do not allow responses from addresses outside of their domain, so I can't do anything with the request. 2. The coppermind has a better and more updated list, so that would be a better place to go anyway, at this point. https://coppermind.net/wiki/Category:Epics Thanks!

Firefight talk (SPOILERS!!! do not read before book)
RShara replied to Sirscott13's topic in The Reckoners
Maybe Calamity is actually David. Having absorbed all Epic powers in order to restore their humanity, he then travels back in time to create the timeline that he knows will result in the human race surviving and the Epics going away. -
Or they named multiple people Alcatraz in one generation

For Fortuity, I didn't think that his entire weakness was when he was attracted to a person, just that it affected him. Maybe his fear is of being rejected, and there's some of that when he sees a woman for the first time, so it weakens him. And if a woman rejects him or laughs at him or something like that, he would lose his powers. Nightwielder, I always like to think he's afraid of vampires Or had a bad experience with a tanning bed? Or is photosensitive

Manhattan stretches roughly NE to SW in a long oval. I don't know that it's even 3 miles wide so it seems like they'd need to be looking outside of the island as well? Google map https://www.google.com/maps/place/Manhattan,+New+York,+NY/@40.7428061,-74.0121463,11z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c2588f046ee661:0xa0b3281fcecc08c">https://www.google.com/maps/place/Manhattan,+New+York,+NY/@40.7428061,-74.0121463,11z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c2588f046ee661:0xa0b3281fcecc08c Oops! After a discussion with curi and Tempus, we realized, since her range is (supposedly) 5 miles, that means those circles need to be 10 miles in diameter. That more than encompasses the entire island of Manhattan, so really there's no part of the island she can't reach, no matter where she is on it. They need datapoints from outside the city to really make any headway!

Well, David does suck at metaphors and similes

Added the London and Manchester Q&A's so far.

Iirc, it's because Roshar doesn't really have much of an axial tilt, so the seasons are even, and are largely determined by the highstorms, their frequency, etc.

Question about the Cosmere as it relates to SA
RShara replied to navybrandt's topic in Stormlight Archive
Actually, the WoB just says that the Nightwatcher is not Cultivation. It doesn't say whether she's a spren of Cultivation. -
The reason Nalan is killing Surgebinders
RShara replied to BreathTaker's topic in Stormlight Archive
Killing the surgebinder won't kill the spren, as long as the person didn't break their oaths. -
I keep reading the title of this post as "Loss of Squirreldom."

Writing Excuses Anthology title: "Shadows Beneath"
RShara replied to masaru's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Awesome! But not another title that starts with S and has Shadows in it! I already get Shadows for Silence and Silence Divine mixed up (along with Sixth of the Dusk and Skin Deep). Now I'm going to have to remember the difference between those and Shadows Beneath straight! -
But again, disillusionment really doesn't seem to be a strong enough reason to basically murder their best friends.

I don't think Hoid would bother to Lightweave his hair when dyeing is simpler, more efficient, and needs less constant attention. Ruffblade, you can read some of Brandon's unpublished works here: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/691-verified-locations-for-unreleased-bookschapters-and-sample-chapters-of-published-books/ Liar has a couple of parts so scroll down for the rest of it.

I like the first one, in black and white, the best.

I like that! I was thinking something like the Mitsubishi logo, but yours makes a lot more sense

I'm not sure what you're saying, Joe, but Dalinar definitely did feel uncomfortable when wielding the Shardblade he thought he got from Taln, and after he bonded with the Stormfather, when he drew the Blade, he heard screaming. Honorblades are not made of spren so would never scream or have problems.

Pattern will have a feild day with the Diagram

...Tannavast? -
Any particular reason or evidence for this theory? I don't see any connections, and as far as we know, Heralds don't have spren.
