And I just finished the first episode of post-hiatus Flash. As in literally, five minutes ago. I'll revise my opinion once I've thought about it for a bit, but my gut reaction...?

Arrow and Flash came back from their hiatus in the UK this week, so I'll be starting on those. Legends of Tomorrow also started, so I'll be getting it watched too (Actually, I saw the first five minutes of it. Is it just me, or did anyone else think of Ace Rimmer when people started calling Arthur Darville 'captain'...?) ...But I have to admit, I'm a little apprehensive. I've been avoiding spoilers as best I can (which hasn't been easy)... but Tor seems to be reviewing each episode as it comes out. I'm just judging based on the "before the spoiler" cut, but I get the impression that they haven't been enjoying the show. So, spoiler free... what are you guy's impressions of it? I admit, I have been really excited for Legends, so the idea that it might not be good is... rather disheartening. (Of course, everyone has different opinions anyway, and I fail to see how spending 13 episodes with Sara Lance could be anything other than awesome. So.)

These might not technically be "videos" as such... But. They are pony related, and they are on youtube, so they probably count. They are also awesome, and frankly, letting people who don't know know they exist can only be a good thing. What are they, you may ask? My Little Pony Audio Drama's. Doctor Whooves Adventures Doctor Whooves and Assistant Doctor Whooves the Great (Though, this one doesn't seem to have had an update in almost a year, so it might be dead, which is a shame...) princess Trixie Sparkle I'm sure there are more of them out there, but I have to admit, I'm not quite sure where they are... and these seem to be the "big" ones. Doctor Whooves and Assistant is probably the most well known, but I admit, I quite enjoy the others... even if Princess Trixie Sparkle can be a little cheesy at times. Anyway, anyone else here watched any of these before?

I haven't seen the second half of Gravity Falls yet, so I really don't have any idea as to how much of a spoiler this constititues... but I thought it was funny and thought you guy's might like it.

Damnation. I know one other badge that Gary didn't get, and I remember the meme about Gary getting two badges better than you... but I cannot remember what the other badges he scored looked like. Yup. Not much to add, because...you're right. Was just a thought I had, I guess? I wouldn't think twice about a cowardly male, but there are biases and cultural stuff that makes a gender swap...uncomfortable. Well, judging from your reaction, I suppose that's a show to add to my List.

I suppose that's part if what I'm wondering. Does a character "being female" load a characteristic with more connotations than it otherwise might. (Then again, perhaps the fact I even have to ask answers that question).

Thanks for the responses everyone..and since I already have your attention, may as well add this question here. When I right click a file on my computer, it gives me an option to "Scan for virus". The file came from a google drive, but it was too large to view online or scan before downloading, so... How good would a home computer virus scan be? And since I downloaded said file while logged onto sites, should I be changing passwords or deleting documents and stuff I was using/used?

Okay. So. Uh. I finally decided to get myself a gmail account, despite my general disdain for the omnipresence of the Google Overlord. Well, that's a bit harsh. The main reason I have against using google stuff is because of how much they demand personal info, like names. I say "like names". Names are no problem. I don't think I've ever made an email address that used my real name... But google ahs the added wrinkle of demanding a phone number, which bothers me. I don't want to give that out. So... quick security question. I used my mobile to verify my google account so I could start using it. Do I need to tinker with settings to prevent people being able to phone my phone directly?
